Very cool, Champ. Fellow young Aussie is definitely the star of the show. Interesting comparison's regarding the friendliness of citizens between Vietnam and Thailand. Smiles or no Smiles hmmm, not sure what I'd choose. Fake smiles are never a good look!
Haha yeah well you probably know how much I love Thailand by now 🤭 face or real smile. I wouldn’t like to choose between those magnificent countries 😍 thanks for watching again!
You have nailed it yet again with an awesome range of questioning that really do get the backpackers opening right up telling their experiences and stories of their travels. We are not viewing Q & A only but full on conversations that flow and they really are fabulous to listen to. Brilliant work Chai. Loved every minute of it. Great video!! Cheers champ 🍻🤩
Thanks Steven! It’s always great to talk to my fellow travelers. I’m happy you experience the videos like they do 😊 happy weekend brother Steven 🙏 stay champ 🏆
As an Oz, not due to government watching or sth (I love you stated that Chai lol I know what you mean), walking in Vietnam is definitely safer than in Australia especially at night time (excluding crossing the streets lol). And sitting at a coffee shop and watching the world goes by for hours, defo love doing it in Vietnam
This is very helpful for someone going to Vietnam for the first time. Will find myself here in two weeks time, and hopefully it's as enjoyable as they've described.
i `m so curious about my upcoming first trip to vietnam in June next year. & Weeks are my plan for travelling there. My first Trip was Thailand last January and i travelled alone the first time as a backpacker and it was the best decision to do that on my own. Felt save every moment. Now i Travel to malaysia in a few days and it´s also my first visit there alone. i think there is a big difference of feeling between when you safe alone as a backpacker than as a package holidaymaker. Best way to travel is doing that alone
I see loads of Aussies on my travel. They love to do the whole back packing travel, but when it’s the other way around and they start to see a few brown and non white faces in their country all of a sudden it’s not ok.
Vietnam is super cheap. I am from Germany and was in Hanoi for 2 weeks this month. The weather was very nice for Europer about 25 degrees. Haircut costs 2 Euro . A latte coffee in Starbucks 3.5 Euro .... so it was amazing in Hanoi
Nice one mate! Haha I even rather to buy a proper Vietnamese coffee from a local shop (better and way cheaper 🤭) but that’s just preference. Hopefully you’re able to come and visit again soon 😃🇻🇳 or anywhere else in SEA. Thanks for watching
Hi!champ.According the German guy mentioned it seems he didn't like Thai smiling, more offensive, scamming and try to sell everything to tourist.but it's ridiculous 😂🤣 that he spends one month inThailand and 2weeks in Vietnam.lol. safe travels champ🎉❤
Hi hi :) I guess some people also have bad experiences in Thailand. Hopefully he gives it another chance and get the meet the lovely people of Thailand (maybe away from the tourist destinations next time) thanks for watching again. Stay champ!🏆
I don't agree with the guy who said you can buy a house anytime. That fact that he didn't use the money to buy a stable home is wrong. Later on when he has no income or a very low paying job it will take years and years to buy a property and he will regret it. My advice to backpackers would be to know when its time to stop and go home. Also do not waste all of your money and fall in love with anybody along the way.
I don’t like to say something is wrong or right when it comes to this topic. I think everyone should do what feels right in their lives without judging the other. The positive message I get from him is to explore the world and meet great people once you’re able to. He saw his opportunity to do so and he feels it was the right thing to do for him. As much as I don’t like the fact you say he’s wrong for saying what he have said, I’m happy yours part of the conversation 🙏 thanks for watching
I think he means once you get a "mortgage"....ie travel or take on large debt and be trapped... Also he's single, so wanting to meet the right person to buy a home together....when the time is right...
Each to his own. I get your point as I have led a nomadic life and getting a house is probably impossible. On the flip side, I knew people who went down the path of buying a house etc. A job loss or divorce or a big financial crisis can you lead you lose the house. We can't see that far into the future.
That aussie guy has such a good attitude! Makes me proud to be Aussie too! I love hcmc more and more in every visit
Cheers mate. HCMC is growing on me too! Have a great Saturday 🏆
Oz in Vietnam and Bali behave very different btw...
The "so cheap" comment was cringe, though. It's not cheap for the locals, believe me.
As an American, aussies are the coolest people ever!

Nice one mate :) you’re gonna love Malaysia. Hopefully you’re able to go to some of the islands. Mind you some of them are shut due to the monsoon 🙏
I like this video

Bullshit
You're not wrong.
👍💛
Thanks! ❤️
HO CHI MINH😊
Those weird old guys paved the way to make backpacking easier. They were doing it without Grab, google maps etc.
Haha weird old guys 😂
Wow the 🇧🇷 speak good English 😉 tudo bem 🐶
I think so too 😁
Do u have any hostel recommend?😊
Hi hi, hostelworld.com is your best bet. Keep an eye out on how many stars it has and how many people rated the hostel. I hope this helps :)
Damn the last guy from 🇨🇦 Canada voice so hot & sexy 😂❤🎉
Haha well I take that as a compliment as I’m always searching for the right mix of people to talk to 😜 happy weekend
and his face? haha

🇻🇳 cheap. That why I love it 😜 let be honest. My dollar go far 🫢
Starbucks 😂
Idk how to meet ppl, been traveling for 10 months now… help 😢
Stay in hostels/cheap guesthouses and always smile when you’re out and about. Just start a conversation with anyone you see smiling back 🙏
Pick pockets are everywhere in the world. If you google, you would surprise the countries on the list. And Vietnam is NOT on it. But, still be aware.
Nice one mate. Still be aware 😉 have a good one 🏆

Did he go north? The people up there are lovely.
Thái Lan hay cười giả tạo vì họ chuyên về du lịch.
Tôi nghĩ nó có liên quan đến sự lịch sự
Thailand have better set up but 🇻🇳 is 30 percent cheaper at least so it depend what u looking for cheap cost of living or fun Thailand 🇹🇭
Asian countries are much more appealing since the west, including Australia, have become multicultural and divided. Not as safe as it once was....
Yeah crimes hiking up, my friend in Townsville said it's very intense up there, crazy

Every human end in the same place, house or not house, memento mori.
