- Today I wanted to talk about the Tony Scott film Enemy of the State, and my story of how I was cast in the film. Truly a story about a different time in Hollywood, and a different casting process than what we mostly see today. I was blessed to work with the people I did at that time!

You should do Three Kings next!
I love three kings
Enemy of the State is such a good movie! I’ve always had love for that film and it’s very underrated.
That Tony Scott impression was gold 😂😂 loved that man’s movies RIP to him 🍻
Can't wait to hear about Bowfinger next!!
Fuck yeah
I remember when I was big into Jamie Kennedy when I saw who I was in that movie was like "oh Steve Martin, Eddie Murphy and Jamie Kennedy! That sounds awesome." And it's such and underrated comedy .
Also now it's cool to look back and see Robert Downey Jr having a small role in it.
Bowfinger rules!!
@@Orangeflava bow finger chant!!!!
@@moviebuff3000 dude yess! I wish they'd bring it back for a series. I love the whole "hollywood con" genre and that's the best of them.
Also don't forget John Cho!
Enemy of the State was one of the first if not they first R rated movie I ever saw. My dad never let us watch R rated movies as a kid he never let us watch R rated movies but he was like “this movies important, you guys need to see these. This is what the i internet is gonna do to you guys” I cannot believe how right he was. So glad you were a part of such an important film.
I’m wondering if mr dean ever got his blender back. Loved that blender
Enemy of the state is my favorite movie
Bowfinger is my favorite movie about making movies!! So many great roles in it too. Can’t wait to hear about that one 🎥
You gotta talk about your Crimal Minds character and episodes. They were CRAZY.
Literally my fav film of all time. So so good
DUDE! Idle Hands is the shit. Such an underrated comedy. lol.

And it was true and now it’s even worse

Man i was only 5 years old in 1997 but I do remember this movie being a big deal. Its a good one too, RIP Tony Scott.
A superb movie, and a great sequel to “The Conversation”.
That makes so much sense! Mind blown lol
This was great. Can’t wait to hear stories from Boiler Room set. Lots of energy there I’m sure!
Keep it up!!
I appreciate these stories, man. Keep them coming.
Harold & Kumar cameo???? Just rewatched it yesterday & completely forgot about your cameo until they pulled the car over. Then it all came back & I died laughing 😆 all over again.
“Is that your bush?” 😂 😂
It would be great to hear about your experience on Million dollar password - and Norm Macdonald!
YES!! Love this!
Bro these intimite behind the scenes videos are something else. Please keep them coming.
Jamie,Jake Busey,Scott Caan,Barry Pepper every actor of a certain age was in that movie.
I was at the inner harbor for a high school field trip to the aquarium when you were filming. My friends and I mixed in with some extras during a scene where it was raining (they had big black tarps to make it look dark). We started walking when the person told us to go and then they yelled at us to leave after we walked through. There's probably some footage of us somewhere. 🤣
Oooooo snap time to make some popcorn
Man I wanna see you cast again and again.
Love these, Jamie! Please do Romeo and Juliet soon!
Great film
“I’m coming back for my juicer”
“I’ll have it gift wrapped”
Thankyou Jamie keep up the good work
Aaaaaaaand 'bout to go watch it... again
im so early. luv k! my life is doing better ever since i moved out from my parents.
This has been one of my all time favorites and your character was a core part of this film. Thanks for sharing! These videos are great. Very natural.
Ive seen this movie several times and didnt recognize you in it! Keeps these types of vids coming.
Keep uploading this stuff Jamie! U re a great storyteller👌
Love that movie great cast.. the good old days
David Marconi wrote Enemy of the State
Great upload!
Great great movie.
I love this Behind the scenes stuff. Excellent 👍
This is the best movie you've been in. Although I enjoy the first two Screams, Malibu, and Son of the Mask probably more, this is an important film to me from a philisophical and political stance.
Nah, Three Kings is by far his best.
Someday you gotta do a video where you almost got the role in Without a Paddle since you briefly mentioned it in the first part of your Son of the Mask documentary
Another seth green one
dope movie must watch ❗️
TWO copies of "The War at the Shore"? Right on.
You have to talk about boiler room man!
Laughed so hard a sharted at 4:21. Swear to god it looked like Jim Breuer :D 3/4 of the way through and loving every second jfs
Just enjoyed your 2018 Lopez set. Given the sensitivities today it might be interesting for you to watch it (sh!t only 3 years ago).
Thank you for sharing your stories.. I'm glad your channel popped up on my recommended. .I appreciate your time and energy ♡ I subscribed and hit the notification bell but sadly I cannot watch you at work... I have to wait until I get home😉
Seth greens entire look in the movie was straight up the embodiment of the 90s🤣🤣
I’d like to hear about Bowfinger . I don’t hear many people talk about that film. Such a good cast too .
Enemy of the state was fantastic
Two dope, funny AF Philly dudes in a great movie.
Love the insight! Thank you for sharing. Out of curiosity what was your “number” you previously wanted? And following that - with all the residual checks since the movie opened, has it now gone over that original number??
would love to hear how you got cast in bongwater, clockwatchers, boiler room. i love your characters in these movies
Tony's brother Ridley Scott directed Blade Runner..
Jamie Kennedy I expect the New Year's Eve's celebration 2024
Bro when u coming to Oxnard??
Hey Jamie. Fan for life. But I love you in Boiler Room. Tell us about that! And Sol Goode is so much fun. What about that? Wishing you a great Christmas season. And hope somehow you’re or your character is involved in SCREAM (5) and you get paid for it. Adam S- in Ohio.
dude that bowfiinger chair back....plz talk bowfinger soon!!!
You made me want to watch this movie. Sounds like a nice gig, who can beat being in your trailer and just catching some Z’s until your scenes come up
Do jay and silent bob strike back next
Can you tell the story of creepy guy in Harlod and kumar go to white castle. It was a small cameo but it was such hilarious scene and a very memorable scene in that movie😆😆😆😆
You gotta get into doing some voice work. Seriously would like to see you voice some game characters. lol. Video games have gotten crazy with mocap and acting, and it’s becoming THE go-to entertainment for interactive story-telling. I think more of Hollywood will come in the future.
Weird thing , the date on the passport says 9-11-01 expires. Check it guys! It’s there
Maybe I'm wrong but I swear I only remember Jamie being at the very end of the movie but yet Seth Green was in more scenes and had more lines that I remember but Seth was uncredited. Strange? Or am I not remembering this correctly?
I always tought you where to diffrent characters in the movie because some times you are clean shaven and mote styled hair and are with the henchmen and other times when you are with the hacker types of guys you have more of the same hair and beard as in scream 2. and also your character goes inn at the ending to the resturant with the other henchmen and the shotout happens and everyone dies, but then you appear at the end when you are being interrogated. So that has always confused me
Do Bowfinger
I love this!! Keep them coming Jamie 😊 You’re the best
👍🏼
Do a video
How I wrote: Malibu’s most wanted
How I casted for: Malibu’s most wanted
Enemy of the State is a good movie with a GREAT ending!

Enemy of the State is still a great fucking movie. you should do videos on " Stories with Nick Swardson " Lol
Y do you have 2 copies of the book " the War at the Shore" Jamie?

Good video. For me, even if it’s officially it’s not…..it is to me.
Yo what up Jamie👋 Bro do how you were cast in 3 Kings🤘
Didn't recognize you from that movie lol. I looked up the character and said "oh, that one".
Do Boiler Room or Romeo + Juliet next
Aw wow thats right....back when we thought will smith had range haha. He used to do good movies.
Lmao what is that like a British Beavis?
Hey Jamie,
How did you get this part ua-cam.com/video/Px52AkqelEk/v-deo.html on this pilot tv show called Cybertron with Jason David Frank AKA the green power ranger
Will do a story soon
@@jamiekennedycomedy Aweseom!!
You keep saying Seth Green... But you must mean Jack Black, right? Cuz Seth isn't in that movie at all...?
Or am I [literally] tripping?
I apologize man. I didn't even realize you were in Enemy of the State. 🤦♂️
Can you answer something for me though?
Is Will Smith known for being tough to work with by any chance? Cause... it seems like he's cast in a LOT of roles where he is either alone, or has very little interaction with other cast members.
I noticed that also. He's never in movies where he's really talking to anyone who isn't already really famous. Tons of big actors I've seen in movies doing scenes with actors that aren't known very much at all but he never is. Maybe it's just the scripts people write for him I don't know.
First
Hey Jamie,
How Did You Get This part ua-cam.com/video/Px52AkqelEk/v-deo.html on this pilot tv show Cybertron with Jason David Frank AKA The Green Power Ranger
Was he Australian?
Yeah I miss good movies, now it's just action and super heroes and explosions and idk, kind of like music these days, no substance
I had a good time with this one but I still can't help but get pissed at Smith for making that phone call and screwing Gene Hackman's character over because of it. He should have shown more appreciation for him allowing him to hide out at his off the grid home but instead exposed it with his foolishness.
You give off the vibe that you're a Hollywood darling, yet no director/producer likes you in any way. As if they hate you so much, they gave you garbage roles, but you accept them like a golden retriever expecting some treats for being a good boy.
And you know this how?
Great movie! Life before the slap. LoL...Day 18. Another difficult day for crypto.
Lmaooo
Does that mean I got it?
Hhheeehhehe gtfo heaa
