Just Roll With It (or JRWI) is a Dungeons and Dragons podcast featuring Slimecicle, GrizzlyPlays, Condifiction, BizlyChannel, and TripleMcWheatie available on all podcast streaming services.
This has inspired me to write a whole little story.. Amazing art, 10/10 almost cried.
and so i did write a little story (tw// crying/breakdown, death(i guess) )
Chip stood, his feet glued to the ground. He stared straight ahead, staring blankly at his friends limp bodies.
The whole world paused for a moment. Tears ran down his face and he felt an ache in his heart.
"Well.." he murmured, a sorrowful chuckle escaping his lips.
He breathed in slowly, reaching in his pocket. He pulled out Arlin's coin and stared. The small golden piece that meant everything.
Tears ran down his face quicker now. He choked on the lump in his throat. Chip clutched the coin tightly, realization of loneliness finally creeping in.
He fell to the ground, utter frustration and depression setting in. He sobbed, curling up.
What a day it was.

Then Chip woke up, his hammock swayed with the Millennium Ch- i mean the Albatross drifting at sea. He looked around and saw Gill's head peeking out from his barrel and saw Jay walk past giving a little wave to Chip who was blinking tears from his eyes. It was just a nightmare. His friends wasn't dead. Arlen had a chance of still being alive. All was good for Chip........ until
He tripped while getting out of his hammock and scared Gill.
Gillion shook his head and then glanced at Chip.
Chip was looking down, rubbing his eyes.
Gill smiled, "Good morning Chip! Did you have a good sleep?"
Chip chuckled, "No, not at all." He looked back up at Gillion.
Gill frowned and he climbed out of the barrel. Then he went over to Chip, "What happened? Are you okay, Chip?" He sat down
Chip signed then layed his head on Gill's shoulder. He felt even more tired.
"I'm fine Gill, I promise. I'm just happy to be awake."
@@justdessert2200 “Welcome to my life!” Jay yells from across the room in a joking manner, but stops dead in her tracks soon after and turns around. “For real though, do you wanna talk about it?”
“Nah. I’m fine now, thanks.” Chip lied, having no idea how to explain to his friend that he just saw them die a horrible death. He’d hate to scare them.
“Well if you ever need to talk, I’m literally right here.” Jay gave a little smile and dropped the conversation, seeing Chip get uncomfortable. She knew he never really liked talking about his feelings.
(I am a year late, but I don’t care! Nice story y’all have here!)

“Smell you later, Jay.” Chip waved her off.
Gillian was staring at Chip.
“What’s your problem?” Chip smiled at Gillian.
“The question is.. what is yours? Something plagues your mind.” Gillian responded.
“Dude, I already told you that I’m fine!” Chip stood, throwing up his arms in a defensive manner.
“You said you wouldn’t lie to me again.” Gill said.
“I’m not lying!” Chip insisted.
“..if you do not wish to tell me, then fine. That is your choice.” Gill nodded and stood, walking past chip to finish his chores.
