If you have ever sailed on a large boat on Komodo Island, it seems like the boats there are manufactured in Bira, the name is Phinisi which is included in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. In Bira there are 2 places (Tana Beru and Ara) you can also visit the Aparalang cliffs, Lemo Beach and Bara Beach is still in the same location as Bira.
Yes, we have been to Komodo Island, and the phinisi boat is beautiful! Also, thanks for the recommendation-we will make sure to visit there on our next trip to South Sulawesi 😁
