I wouldnt dress gaskets with that much silicone. Paper gaskets get hylomar blue or permatex 518 anaerobic gasket maker. You only need a layer about .002" thick or it can act like a lubricant and let the gasket slide around. Coated/graphite gaskets do not get any sealant.
