I'm a big fan of the Quad Shot Progressives series, which reward players with Progressives for landing 5-of-a-kind line hits when the special Quad Shot outline symbol also appears in reel 5. The more rare your symbol, the higher the Progressive you will win!
The bonus in Big Thunder is triggered by landing 3 or more bonus symbols for 15 free games. During this feature a 6th reel called the "Bonus Reel" appears which has "x3", "x5" and "Big Thunder" symbols. Retriggers are possible for 5 additional spins for landing 3 or more bonus symbols. Non-premium symbols are removed from the reels and what may not be obvious at first, line pays occur for the total number of symbols on a line, regardless of their positioning: in other words, they don't need to all be left-to-right, they can appear anywhere on a line! With a little luck, and a nice multiplier, some Big Wins or a Jackpot can happen, Enjoy!

It's not just you, the bonus is absolutely confusing until you realize what's going on! Note: for each of my videos I fully describe the game in the "Description" section of the video, which is hidden on mobile by default, but check it out!

Congrats on doubling up, but I had no clue what was going on in that bonus. I have played this game years ago in FL. and got the bonus and was so confused. I have to go to slot machine College for this one.
