You have to be careful of the words you use in certain situations. It's impossible for Black Americans, Nigerians, or West Africans as a whole to "COPY" each other. These are all the same people, doing what they know however they understand or see fit. It's business as usual, just in a different location. The people who COPY us are non-Africans or, to some extent, Africans outside the western region of Africa. In any case, imitation is the greatest form of flattery, so what is the issue anyway.

Well said 😁 Ajim! That's historical fact! We are the originators of music 🎵, arts, literature and science. Civilization begin in Africa 🌍! When I first arrived in America in the 80's, my black classmates used to ask me if we lived on trees. I told them yes, because that was a mumu question. They were so miseducated by their white masters that they didn't know their ass from their elbow. So, kudos to Steve Harvey for trying to re-educate them. There's still a long way to go though. Good 😊 job Ajim for focusing on this issue. Much love 💕! Peace ✌️ out!

Arrogance and pride is a dangerous thing what is wrong with copying or being influenced by something, no culture popped out of a vacuum, culture assimilate and morphed into whatever it is. So yes afrobeats artistes do copy African Americans culture and to add Afrobeats is the baby of Dancehall music that is where early afrobeats artistes got their inspiration from.

@@emmersonadi3067 Sharrap! It’s a free world because people have the right to make decisions based on how they feel about their personal safety!
Why don’t you as a Nigerian go and test yourself in the Gaza Strip? According to you, because celebrities haven’t been killed, it’s safe because the probability to be killed by a bomb or airtime isn’t 100 %!
My younger brother was kidnapped 8 years ago and but for the grace of God was earmarked for death if he hadn’t been rescued. The kidnappers had already dug his grave/hole to dump his body!
Another uncle went missing when he went to Abuja 10 years ago and has never been heard from since.
On my way back to Benin at the end of my youth service, southerners like myself were burned alive or stabbed to death in Kano because we were Christians and my bus with all passengers almost fell victim as we were surrounded by a large angry mob with Gerry cans filled with petrol- luckily we escaped thanks to a military truck filled with soldiers coincidentally coming back from field duty.
The Nigerian federal government doesn’t care about the lives of the citizens and you have the gall to spew nonsense. Everyone is on their own.

Even a near death attack by a jihadist/islamist mob in Kano just because you’re Christian after youth service and a relative going missing after traveling to Abuja have happened to my brother, me & an uncle by marriage respectively!
Just because you haven’t lived in the mire doesn’t mean you can speak for everyone!
Not everybody in the Gaza strip or Israel has died or been affected by the war. By your reasoning, that means it’s safe for foreigners to visit. Why don’t you go and test yourself in the Gaza Strip and see how safe you are?

@@tonia16I What an erroneous analogy!! Are you now saying that the security situation in Nigeria is tantamount to that of the war ravaged Gaza strip? What a mismatch! It's shameful and pathetic that you are using a war zone to describe ur own country. How many times have bombs destroyed hospitals and private residence leaving scores of civilians dead in Nigeria? How many have been displaced by heavy atomic shellings and destruction. What we have in Nigeria is sporadic wave of attacks by bokoharam insurgents and herdsmen, and in some cases, unknown gun men. But that's not enough for you to draw a parallel to what is obtainable in the Gaza strip, which is just a narrow strip that is highly volatile and combustible.I repeat, ur comment is very lamentable and lacks objectivity. That some parts of Nigeria are plagued by insecurity is not enough for you to make such wild generalization that he didn't come to Nigeria because of fear of being kidnapped. That's a very outrageous and myopic submission

Just hope people can see to recognise what this is truly about
Lets solve the equation of division in this situation:
    Ghana is family
    Steve Harvey is family
Unfortunately Nigeria might have sibling rivalry with Ghana and our beloved black American families
Reasons under the colonial system for African borders to create divisions
We add that to the equation
Steve Harvey is a celebrity that’s employed by the white supremacy system
The white supremacy system is all about divisions
So Steve Harvey saying what he said
Instead of embracing his African family
If we add sibling rivalries + the division systems to the equation
The answer will be = pitting against one another to create divisions amongst us
To counteract the division is to embrace our beloved Ghana and American families

It is unfortunate that it is only the black man who feels the need to put his brother down in order to feel good about himself. This is characteristic of a man who does not know himself. The blogger unfortunately has strong traits of that character. He is so obsessed with hyping Nigeria and making money and fame out of it such that the truth that sets free is not important to him. Divided we fall. A house divided against itself can never stand. All other groups of people are united against blacks. It is the blacks themselves who help their enemies by encouraging the divide and rule system which they implemented to conquer us. Unfortunately history will be there for your family and generations to come. It will show how competition and division among black people were encouraged and fanned by you Ajim. Sometimes it is good to reflect on which side of history will ones blog content be when the full context of African existence is taken into consideration.
