Hi brother.... Currently Toronto, Montreal and Vancouver are very expensive in terms of living expenses... The rents are outrageous. Smaller cities like Calgary is booming at this moment however the rents are going up here too..... Edmonton is relatively cheaper in rents and housing market than Calgary. Lethbridge, Fort McMurray, Saskatoon, Regina, Winnipeg are cheaper option to start.... Later you can move anywhere once you get the PR. Also they are changing the expense policy for international students from 10,000 dollars to 20,000 minimum to support yourself..... So be faster in your planning. @@uniqkarki10 Lethbridge is a very good choice for international students. Its a beautiful smaller city, 2hrs away from Calgary. The rents are affordable. In 1000 to 1200 you can get an apartment. Colleges are good. Very good start for a new comer.
@@khalidm786 bro i was about to apply for offer letter today , but , unfortunately my course got closed from today , i didn't get my offer letter from nait as i have waited 2 months of time , and this also get passes away , consultancy said me to apply for sait, how is it? How good is Calgary in terms of room rent , job availability and other factors, please make me clear to choose me wisely
@@uniqkarki10 SAIT is among top research institutes in Canada. Your plan will depend on the course you select. Graduating from SAIT is as good as a university. Calgary is a great city to live in. Its multicultured. Great pakistani community, masjids, islamic school, halal options. The rents are a bit on the higher side. Appartments are between 1800 to 2000. Single room will be between 700 till 1000. Its relatively higher than other cities and very little lower than larger cities like Toronto, Vancouver etc. Odd jobs market is ok but you have to be willing to work any type of job. Minimum wages are 15.50 per hour. Professional job market is great for IT and Oil & Gas professionals. I would say, even though Calgary is an excellent choice but its becoming expensive. So prepare urself for a bit of struggle in the begining.
