Is it OK to use Volume indicator on Renko charts to know where accumulation/distribution has happened, to plot potential resistance and support?
Sir in a trending market sometimes within the fixed interval the price moves 4 or 5 times the brick size hence confusing the entry point. Please guide me regarding the same .
Good afternoon sir, I am interested in how am I able to take half the atr value with the think or swim platform for renko strategy, I am not able to figure out how it can be done? If not, is there another way to get the same result from it without halving the value? In other words, if I cannot change the value of the atr range, is there another way to set up my Renko Chart so that it will be accurate for the appropriate tick range? Respective to 1min TF , need to recheck after 7min our STD clock time or only after 7 renko bricks because the renko bricks can plot in 1min or take upto an hour also ?

HeikinAshi is way ahead than Renko...HA will change the perspective you look at markets...
Very interesting analogy with the football game, I loved the video. I found MACD to be very accurate with ATR 14 renko. The indicators also benefit from the reduced noise ;)
I've only tested it on the 5 min timeframe for bitcoin, 4 days so far, no losing trades. I like to keep a candlestick chart next to renko for better orientation.
Hi, can I please know what entry and exit criteria you are using with MACD, I have started to forward test renko with MACD and GMMA on other hand.

Sir i have been using this for 2 months now. Results are great. But the only problem now i am having is 50% of the time are false breakouts. I am using 26 ema for breakouts. Is there any way i can avoid false breakouts and take my accuracy to 70-75%?
Half of the problem with whipsaws and false breakouts are solved once we switch off "in-formation bricks".

How contradicting .. initially it starts with the impression that renko is easiest to follow. trade based on the color change. Then comes the question of choosing the brick size which is so dynamic that one cannot even backtest or backtesting is very tedious ( here itself the claim that renko is easiest fails). I am not denying the capability of renko charts . But this is not the easieast. There are many other ways which are much easier and more profitable thank Renko. PA is one of them.
