I have ecosport 2020 titanium plus 1.5lt diseal tdci manual transmission
A good frank review ( esp about tyre bulge issue ) .Has back pain but uses backward inclined seat instead of upright seat. I have had back pain and this kid doesn't even know basics of seating position for long drive users . Even if u recline in a BMW drive seat , and if u have bad back , u will have pain anyways . Anyways tyre bulges are reported across cSUVs. Even nexon has horrible side wall issues. Change ur seating position buddy and see the magic of ES. Rajesh Bhai use upright position .

Has anyone installed dear covers in titanium + variant because Ford doesn't have any facility to provide seat covers for 6 AIRBAG variant.
The seat discomfort which he is facing is due to the aftermarket seat covers.

@@ameybadhe9260 yea, cuz i have Sports variant 2020. And my height is 6ft 2inch and i never faced discomfort over the long journeys. In fact, it's front seats are larger than the Nexon and rear seat cushioning is best. Rear seat space is manageable.

I was gonna comment the same thing, The Stock bucket is nice and soft.

9:01 I think something is wrong with it's seat cover. because I also own Diesel Ecosport but never felt that. Infact a month ago i did 1100km non stop but still I was on work the other day! So on highways the Ecosport is very very comfortable.
Hight causes back problem when you drive this long in a single sitting.

@@arshshah3210 i am the owner of Ecosport S and XUV300 and my height is 6ft2inch and i never felt discomfort in it. Stiff suspension so what? Xuv 300 also have stiff suspension at low speeds. I experienced it during test drive. No highway can feel more comfortable in XUV300 and Ecosport.
And regarding the Clutch issue, there must be some defect in ur vehicle!
Its not that hard, yeah it is hard but not like unbearable. I drove many times in heavy traffic, but I think that is not a major issue. He earlier drive Skoda Laura which has ultra light clutch, so definitely there will be a change.

Seating comfort ke liye aftermarket lumber support mil jate hai aur ford ne 17" tyre discontinue kar diya hai. Front AC vent direction thikse rakhoge to rear seat 2-3 min me chill ho jata hai. Baki 'hard clutch' & thick A-piller real issue hai. But driving pleasure ye sab issues ko compensate kar deta hai.
See I totally agree but the seating discomfort Is not that bad but the tyre burst problem is true, the service centre didn't replaced the tyres so I had to change all the 5 tyres which costed me around 60000, back seat comfor is less and you feel tight with full house
main cons of EcoSport
- Narrow front cabin
- less space in rear seats
- at low speed every pot hole can give you jerk due to Stiffer Suspension

I think its coz of his seat covers! Coz its never tiring especially for driver and co drivers
Ecosport has a really good driveability ....in highways you need not to downshift while overtaking and even from speeds as low as 25 kmph this car pulls in 4th gear quite effortlessly

I am a proud owner of ecosport 2014 model and neverfelt any tierdness in long drives as long as 1000km with only 2 breaks. He may be feeling seating discomfort due to aftermarket seats. And AC is very good for delhi summers even the summers of Gujarat for fully loaded car (5 seating).
I still drive my 2018 ecosport deisel varient & would like to mention that it drives like a new car & it had done close to 90,000kms now without changing the original tyres & the clutch.
It gives me an average of 17 kmpl on highways at speeds in excess of 140kmph. Handling is superb & I drive on an average of 100 kms daily.
Feel the best of the lot since there is no rattling of any sort even after using it so much.
Very HAPPY with FORD 🙏🙏

I dont believe some of this owners views. Firstly, i find the seat to be quite satisfactory for my 5.8 height. I have driven 600 km nonstop and never tired. The clutch is not that hard when compared to even the i20
Clutch becomes hard mostly after 30k km, i have experienced it

Overall a great review Rachit... Ford Car & seating issue... Hard to digest.. This guys must be either having a severe back problem or due to after market seats covers, there must have been discomfort. Have driven this beast for more than 150+ km at a single stretch and never faced a problem. 17 inches tyres were indeed troublesome but later got rectified and Ford moved to 16 inches.

I like the eco sport as well. Premier Rio was the one who started this segment however due to lack of marketing and the fall of the company gave a chance for Ford to come up as the leader in the segment.

Hi Rajesh, I am driving ford EcoSport 2015 march model. I too feel now to change the vehicle I got issue of engine oil which becomes black too early 1000 km as service aspect changes every 10k. Sometimes feels seating comfort lagging as using same vehicle too long duration 1 Lac kms. What you suggest but dilse se ecosport nahi nikalti.

Hard clutch is the problem,, ford should seriously think of upgrading the tech and replace the new type of clutch mechanism in older ford cars too

Mine has done 62000 km(diesel), but sincerely I never felt Seating problem , clutch although hard to some extent, but manageable. 17 inch rim and low profile tyre is the biggest issue for Indian Road condition, need min 65%.

I too felt same issues. Seat comfort and rear space should have been better. But when you start driving this machine the confidence, driving pleasure & stearing control will put a smile on ur face at every time u ride, which makes u forgot all the negatives.
Ecosport is good all round car , i own one in Thailand and I love it.

All the things Mr. Rajesh mentioned were spot on. Well I am not sure that Signature edition is equipped with a lumbar support adjustment or not but if it has then he needs to adjust that. His lower back will be fine thereafter. This is from my personal experience. FYI it’s like a knob on the LHS of the driver seat near the armrest.

I've been owning ford cars for the last 12 years and the cars are pure heaven at first.
The handling is second to none but the problem will arise after 4 or 5 years especially when you have to change the part,presently the ecosport parts are cheap but once they introduce the facelift the price for parts will skyrocket.

Ford ecosports owner can remove all negatives
1. Fabric / khadi seat covers instead of fake leather / PU
2. Amron xamax back rest for car (preferred hard material instead of soft one ) it will resolve lower back pain issue and your back will be much happy once you are used to it.
3. Tyres with 60 profile

My ecosport Titanium S is 6 months old and i have driven 19500 kms including long trips . I have not experienced any seat discomfort. On the contrary i don't feel any tiredness even after long drives.
thanks for the review. I dont agree with the seating comfort point. I have driven more than 8 hours at a stretch and there has never been an issue. i am using the stock seats and showroom provided seat covers.

No, performance will be same...if you change to exact specifications recommended by the manufacturer...!
If you try to add bigger and more wider tyre than the recommended size by manufacturer...only then performance will be affected...!
Ride comfort will be affected a little bit because of low profile tyre which you will have to fit with the R15 wheels...!
Since 2015. my ECO (Diesel) run 1,20,000 KM today I have given for routine service . So without ECO I am at home. Still no need to change gear when go uphill (Like local bridges) ... I just want to know how is petrol variant of ECO. (I need advice fr. u.)

@@adityadhurandhar3938 Costed me Rs.70 (shampoo cost to wash the car) in the 1st 2,500 km service ... 10000km service was Rs.2,200 ... Had a shock absorber problem (was making some sound), they fixed it for free under 30min ... Overall, loving the Ford experience till now. Getting 23kmpl on highway (100+ speed) and around 27kmpl (80 speed). Normal city mileage is 20kmpl, in bumper to bumper rush hour traffic is 16kmpl.

I am planning to buy ecosport diesel S model.. which may come around 13-13.5 lacs for this year end because of some year end offers (I don't want to wait for a facelift of it cuz we donno when it comes. As ES diesel S has already got all features and comfort and safety no wait required).
I just learnt driving with swift vdi 2014 (used one) model car. I am quite confident on my driving skills now and believe that u can manage to drive ES. I felt clutch of swift is not much hard but yes clutch play is more.
Can you pls eloborate/clarify me if I really get big issues with ES Diesel clutch? Mostly I don't wanna run my car in city but ocassionally. Mostly I will use on highway while leaving to my hometown on weekends from Bangalore city. So I feel no issues with clutch on highways. But when it comes to Bangalore traffic(u know it's hell and bumper to bumper always).
Can I manage in such traffic for 1-2 hours? Or really a big issue? Pls suggest me
and from all other ends I am hearing that ES diesel S is the best in C-SUV segment. And getting 25-27 KMPL(almost a 200 cc bike's mileage) from a rock solid machine is amazing. Taking a bow to ur driving skills. Cheers brother.

I drive a 2019 Petrol Signature edition with over 25k kms done so far. Seating has never been a problem for me.. I find the seating comfortable compared to even Ciaz that I drove for 3 years.. but the 17" tyre is not suited for Indian roads for sure.. the ride is very very bumpy and hard with a lot of up-down and sideways movement! this, along with the lack of a rear ac vent are the biggest cons, i'd say. Build quality, Stability and handling are top notch!

My ecosport tyres are 205/50/17 inch company fitted and I have completed 50000 km, no tyre issue till. It's time to change them, plz suggest to me, may I go on this profile or switch to 215/55/17 inch ?........

I feel the same, clutch issue with titanium petrol as well. Showroom people say we cant adjust clutch because its hydrolic-clutch. Thats a very big negative in city trafic. Almost all other suv in this segment are way better than ecosport in this regard.

Hi, it could be an issue with your spare wheel mount. There are chances that it might be loose and causing sounds, you can inform Ford Service Center and they should help you out.
