I managed to get in on one at 149.99 comes Monday in the mail. I've had BLU for 4 years now upgrading each time (my phone's last 10-12 months do to lack of care and active lifestyle) As long as they serve me well I don't see my self going for a big brand name since as you mentioned 1k for a phone is kind of crazy

And these inexpensive phones from China generally take it a step further with built in spyware, which Blu is notorious for
Looks like a very nice phone with a few really nice updates from last year's model. Although, I use the g90 pro as my second phone and I think I'll stick with that. My only real complaint is the speaker quality. You definitely got a lot of volume just not a lot of quality sound.
I like how this looks. I'm replacing a iPhone 8 and this phones camera looks way better. I was stuck between this and the moto g power and the tcl 20 se. there all around the same price range on amazon right now and way cheaper than the newer iPhones. Even a refurbished iphone xr is still $400. This for $200 is a steal.

Deep blue color and its 48mp camera along with 128gb with dual slot sim. $50 less and I know motos a more popular company and the fusions only a year old so hopefully it lives up to expectations. My iPhone 8 is on its 3rd screen replacement. the selfie camera doesn't work, my home button doesn't work and the back screen is cracked. All I need is it for is photos and games like Pokémon go and brawl stars.
Bought this in November 2021. Worked great for 4 months, and now it stopped working on Consumer Cellular. CC is on the AT&T network and now uses VoLTE. This phone doesn't have VoLTE compatibility. My G91 Pro stopped sending and receiving calls yesterday. I noticed on Amazon they updated their description to say "Not compatible with AT&T, Cricket or with CDMA Networks like Verizon, Sprint, and Boost Mobile." That's a large percentage of the population who can no longer use this phone.
This phone stunned the mid-range market as it comes with the Helio G95 and the bright display.. I am talking about the max variant. The pro vairant is good too

How about your great reviews for older fans? You'd be the first. Of course you'd have to explain the pros and cons, along with your description, in terms older fans can easily understand. This would make it so much easier for seniors to buy/use their phones. If you can let me know.
Due to inventory near by, I ended up with the g91s. It didn't have wireless charging, but it had a better battery and only 4 gb of RAM. I was looking at the pixel 6 for my 78 year old mom. She didn't need 5g or nfc. This budget phone loses a bit to pixel 6, but for the price she was willing to pay, it's a great second place for 400 dollars less!

Great looking phone. Sadly, Blu phones in the next 3 years=no headphone jack, no screen protector, no phone protective case, no headphones, no stickers, no extra goodies. Only phone with charger in the box=$400+
G90 Pro and 91Pro are both good. BLU has sent updates to both so props there. They said expect that to continue, idk for how long. G90 better at night, screen gets very dim for nighttime viewing (I know, I know...!) best of all my phones. G91 a tad snapper and lighter, fast charging and both with wireless. Great values, they work for me. Only glitch has been on 90, screen kept blanking during call but seems fixed now.
Did you ever get more clarification from Blu if this will continue to work in February? The g91 is listed as working on the official list, but it doesn't list the pro. I just called and was told by an AT&T customer service rep that the pro will work. But still nervous to shell out $220 3 months before the switch just in case.
Yes this is the way I want to see Blu and Alcatel heading they must always try to get better and better....then something better will happen for them as time goes.
Why is everyone complaining about lack of 5g? 5g isn't even fully developed yet. And I've tested 5g on Verizon and Att and LTE was just as faster if not faster than 5g. Sometimes on Verizon on my s21, I'd have full bars of 5g and data was unusable. Nothing would load. I had to knock it down to LTE and then it worked like normal. So I feel like unless you're lucky to be in a true 5g or uwb area, it's still gimmicky.
So, pretty much the G90Pro with more memory, a slightly nicer form factor, Android 11, and wireless earbuds. Lack of 5G is a bit of a stumbler, but I suspect they have something else up their sleeve with 5G around the corner. Would make sense for them to put out this attractive tidbit first.
I would expect they at some point we will see a BLU 5G phone. With all companies after this year I don’t expect to see any phones without it anymore. This one I is very much similar performance wise the G90 pro but more attractive and the slight spec bump with RAM, and yes Android 11 straight out of the box - and the wireless earbuds if you’re early enough to the shopping cart. It’s a solid phone.

Do you really think that this new BLU G91-PRO is a much better phone, in terms of the Mediatek Helio G90 processor, the 6/128gb memory and because it also already has the newest Android 11 installed out of the box? Don't you think that the 6.7" FULL HD+ Infinity DOT screen on this phone is something a bit negative, in these days that other mid range cellphones already come with AMOLED display? After watching this video I was confident that it was a good phone. This was the problem I have,the phone does not hotspot. I need hotspot due to the nature of my work so that feature is important. Contacted Amazon and they said they could not do anything. Contacted Blu and the just gave me the run around.

At that price, it IS a serious competitor against the likes of the phone I'm currently using - Motorola Moto G9 Plus (SD730G, 4Gb, 128Gb, 6.9" FHD LCD, 4G), though the G9 Plus doesn't have wireless charging...
Been using this phone for a couple years now, still getting security updates. It's Still a very nice phone, hasn't slowed down at all. Still can't beat the price. In my experience Blu is better at giving security updates than Motorola.
One of the major things I love about BLU is that they have the FM radio in it. Does this GP1 Pro still have that? My Vivo XL+ does and I love this phone.
The Blu 91-PRO specifications on Blu-Products, don't say anything about screen refresh rate, however almost all UA-cam reviewers has said that this new cellphone only have 60hz... However, only one reviewer in UA-cam has mentined that the refresh rate of the screen of this new BLU G91-PRO has 90 Hz... Tech Odyssey, Can you please confirm? My phone is a LG v30... I use them for a long time lol. My GPS hardly ever works anymore, it always loses gps signal. I Just ordered this Blu G91 Pro but I cant find any reviews how google maps works :( Im just hoping it works good. I also use ATT, which I heard this phone doesn't work well with? I guess ill find out.
Frustratingly there is NO NEED for that Google Assistant button, as there is at least another 3 ways ('Hey Google', tapping the microphone icon on the Google search bar, swiping up from the corner). Whats more, the button on the side is locked!!! It wouldn't be so bad if you could remap it to another function/shortcut to an app etc.. It's like my Motorola Moto G9 Plus with one of them annoying 'another way to call up the assistant'... 😒😒😒
For 40$ one can get a Xiaomi redmi nite 10 pro which beats the camera in the Blu G91 Max by a lot with way better dynamic range. The Blu phones are surprisingly good for their price but a tick more and you get much better already too
Is Genshin Impact playable? It doesn’t seem to be as optimized as other popular games so I’m wondering if it might struggle. I’m thinking this might be a good starter phone for my son.
If it does it won’t be on high settings. I wouldn’t imagine it’s a great playing experience and will make the phone hot. It’s a very intensive and demanding game.
Makes sense. For some people that may be something that is a deal breaker. I don’t personally use NFC, and I live in an area with great coverage. For someone in the same position that may feel differently. Some people need the expanded converse though and like to use contactless payment methods.
BLU G91 Pro vs Motorola g stylus 2021, besides that they are actually similar specs all around except the stylus it would be great competition for the Blu G91 Pro.
I was curious as to the amount of Micro SD storage you could add - BLU's website says 256GB - I'll give one a try when mine comes in tomorrow and report what I find. I know the G90 Pro only supported 128GB (I think) - a total of 256GB still isn't bad like you said especially at the $150 launch price. BTW I usually ignore the BLU marketing emails I get thinking "what's next another $60 phone with 2GB of RAM and Android 8?" This was a great deal. I'm hoping too that they offer the same deal here in Oct. with the slick Moonstone color - may just have to buy another....
Sometimes it say quick charge but always it says charging and it takes more than 5 hours to charge, unlike when I see quick charge it takes 1hour and 30mins. How do I enable it always
If the battery is anything like the G90 Pro we're in good shape - I sometimes leave the phone unplugged down in my office over the weekend (work phone) and come Monday morning I usually have about 88% - sometimes 91% battery charge - unlike other phones if you watch a lot of video or wireless data or WiFi it doesn't obliterate your battery - hoping for similar performance...
Oneplus Nord can fire up the rockets. I know it is not in the same category, but when average Joe visits the local scumbags to buy a cheap phone and want a bright blue slate, this Blu just looks super impressive, the included case is awesome, a screen protector clean software its a good deal in my opinion. Just tune your expectations down to offbrand ebay stuff and there is no disappointment. Samsung can't even touch this kind of value... Slow software updates? Who needs another OneUI 3 flop in this category? Very price sensitive users not tolerate the latest unstable stuff as much. They just want a device to work and last 2-3 years.
Since this phone does not have an AMOLED screen, I would like to know whether or not its screen is bright enough and could be used outside without any problem, in bright sunlight. I would also like to know, as happened with the BLU-Bold-N1 last year, if BLU-Products has said something about the quarterly security updates and also about the update of this new G91-PRO mobile phone to the next Android-12.
I have a Blu that I got a few months back on sale from straight talk and personllay I like it's but the contraction isn't the best. From what I remember BLU were more geared towards AT&T. They usually were missing the normal T-Mobile LTE bans (2, 4, and 12)
It works on t mobile and metro I've had mine on metro since it first came out last year and works great

Was looking pretty good till...the Omision of bands 66 and 71....pretty nice phone for the money, but they went backwards for an unlocked phone...
If it was still this price I'd pick it up for my wife for a emulation phone but $200 for this processor is a no go

I also have read that this new G91-PRO cellphone comes with an "Iso-cell" 48-MP Main Camera Module from SAMSUNG, instead of the 16-MP one on the G91 which it's made by SONY.

No. I haven't. But I have to say I'm about 90% sure it won't keep working.
Always with BLU phones - don't ever count on Android OS updates - they've gotten a bit better but never bank on it....

My phone is a LG v30... I use them for a long time lol. My GPS hardly ever works anymore, it always loses gps signal. Frustratingly there is NO NEED for that Google Assistant button, as there is at least another 3 ways ('Hey Google', tapping the microphone icon on the Google search bar, swiping up from the corner). Whats more, the button on the side is locked!!! It wouldn't be so bad if you could remap it to another function/shortcut to an app etc.. It's like my Motorola Moto G9 Plus with one of them annoying 'another way to call up the assistant'... 😒😒😒
For 40$ one can get a Xiaomi redmi nite 10 pro which beats the camera in the Blu G91 Max by a lot with way better dynamic range.
The Blu phones are surprisingly good for their price but a tick more and you get much better already too

If it does it won’t be on high settings. I wouldn’t imagine it’s a great playing experience and will make the phone hot. It’s a very intensive and demanding game.

I know it's a budget device, but the missing bands and not having NFC make it an automatic no-go from me.
Makes sense. For some people that may be something that is a deal breaker. I don’t personally use NFC, and I live in an area with great coverage. For someone in the same position that may feel differently. Some people need the expanded converse though and like to use contactless payment methods.

I was curious as to the amount of Micro SD storage you could add - BLU's website says 256GB - I'll give one a try when mine comes in tomorrow and report what I find. I know the G90 Pro only supported 128GB (I think) - a total of 256GB still isn't bad like you said especially at the $150 launch price. BTW I usually ignore the BLU marketing emails I get thinking "what's next another $60 phone with 2GB of RAM and Android 8?" This was a great deal. I'm hoping too that they offer the same deal here in Oct. with the slick Moonstone color - may just have to buy another....

If the battery is anything like the G90 Pro we're in good shape - I sometimes leave the phone unplugged down in my office over the weekend (work phone) and come Monday morning I usually have about 88% - sometimes 91% battery charge - unlike other phones if you watch a lot of video or wireless data or WiFi it doesn't obliterate your battery - hoping for similar performance...

Oneplus Nord can fire up the rockets. I know it is not in the same category, but when average Joe visits the local scumbags to buy a cheap phone and want a bright blue slate, this Blu just looks super impressive, the included case is awesome, a screen protector clean software its a good deal in my opinion. Just tune your expectations down to offbrand ebay stuff and there is no disappointment. Samsung can't even touch this kind of value... Slow software updates? Who needs another OneUI 3 flop in this category? Very price sensitive users not tolerate the latest unstable stuff as much. They just want a device to work and last 2-3 years.
Since this phone does not have an AMOLED screen, I would like to know whether or not its screen is bright enough and could be used outside without any problem, in bright sunlight.
I would also like to know, as happened with the BLU-Bold-N1 last year, if BLU-Products has said something about the quarterly security updates and also about the update of this new G91-PRO mobile phone to the next Android-12.
