The only thing I don't really like about wilderness survival is that it feels a bit empty to me. Like it's just missing some things. Granted improvised crafting is also sadly missing some things... imagine if in the future we could make improvised bows, or just any form of archery would be amazing imo honestly.
Just wait till the devs add npcs that you can recruit, set priorities and schedules for, and get gunned down by when they weren't given a table for eating their meals
Surviving in the wilderness is great fun in zomboid. Most of my characters have lived for a year or so by just grabbing everything in the kitchen then scampering out into the woods. Then its just a slow decent into madness listening to your city friends clearing houses and making a base while you, the local gonlin, amass stone age tools and havent seen a zombie and 5 or 6 irl days
I’ve thought about recreating Big Bear island from The Long Dark into Zomboid but the terrain differences make it somewhat challenging. Shame since that map is such a beautiful area to survive during a “quiet apocalypse”
This map is really good, my own modlist trully gives some taste upon, even the ruins that have some crates on the middle, top, and lower islands cant grant too much loot if you use very rare loot, but well, how will you get there freezing and feet scratches?
Hey, duck ;) speaking of maps I took a look at the PZmap project earlier today and I noticed there seems to be a castle to the right of Louisville have you seen this?
My question is what about nails and all how do things like shelter without nails then I kinda got thinking about some architecture built entirely without nails I wonder if there a mod that is balanced to let you use only wood a lot more wood then normal to construct things but the things you build are also weaker
How about, can you survive with literally no buildings of any kind, any roads, canned food, literally everything in project zomboid Where you literally have to hunt, craft, fish, forage, and that's it in a huge forest with the difficulty set up to realistic levels with no zombies IN Project Zomboid, no, because it's a zombie apocalypse game and if a zombie apocalypse game doesn't have building of any kind then it's shit and this mod is shit

thank you
You should add "Crafting Enhanced Core" as its a dependancy for "That's It I'm Weaving"
Thanks for making this list. Giving it a go as we speak
How does one save a short for later?
Thanks
“Have you ever tried surviving in Project Zomboid?” Yes, yes I have
Halfway there already :)
Sadly I’m no good
"Try" is the key word here for me
@@GrimKatt Try? Is fist fighting an entire horde counted as trying?
@@noobplaye1218 Yes, because you are still going to die
ah yes, the project zomboid thousand years later mod
:D
When the soup cabinet is finally empty and you got to leave your house....I mean ruin.
more like a few million years earlier lol
With the coming wildlife update, it'll become a more common and accessible game mode.
Absolutely!

@@itzaleaf405kitsune crossbow mod is a good mod for that
That wildlife update is still coming. 😅
Wow, this is exciting. Had no idea there was a wilderness map mod! Thanks for the mod list and idea!
No probs :)

You’re going to love it to death
Rimworld addiction goes crazy though

Might as well add craft helper to my game lol great tips as always
My pleasure!
Thank you ive been looking for a map like this
No problem!
The survival mods aren't in the comments that was a brainfart the links are in the description
Now in the comments as well, apologies!
@@MrAtomicDuck it's fine I was trying to let others know but even the description is missing a few links
I haven't done this yet. It looks fun, thanks GG
Finally, every mod getting us closer to CDDA's innawoods mod!!!
This mod will be amazing with the crafting and building update.
Agreed!
This will be such a more fun experience when B42 drops with the crafting overhaul
For sure!

cant wait for the wildlife and AI update. hope we will be able to assign them to ''patrols/farming etc etc''
me who has a very specific load order focusing on wilderness survival crafting and being self sufficient on every playlthrough
.
yah i need this map
:D
They should make a island or Jurassic park map
Looks cool
I’m trying this now😂
Enjoy!
This is so cool.

Done it and it's pretty fun
Except for the fact that my Stone axes constantly break...
I can't even survive on Modern Zombie Apocalypse, ON THE EASIEST DIFFICULTY

Thing is, I need a wood stove 😂
What would be the recommended amount of zombies ?
when you don't wanna buy sons of the forest:
Any idea how to get it to work in multiplayer?
No zombies no issues
when i play that map i cant forage anything, it always says theres nothing here, long story short i gave up on that map lol
Or, hear me out…there’s this game called Sons of the Forest that sounds a lot like this
I was a bit disappointed with SoTF, felt a lot more like a DLC to the original than its own game
@@MrAtomicDuck oh I’ve never played the first one, maybe that’s why I love it so much
You eat berries alot and trapping. As long as theres a river
Change your start date to Jan 1st, make climate cold. That's my usual start. Most don't make it, but such is the nature of the beast.
Is this deponia music i am hearing?
Yes, I tried it, but the map doesn't work, I don't know why, even with about 85 mods, it created for me and it was the original map without mods
Try the new version, been scrapped
Are there zomboids or is it just based on the still extreme realism and survival in the wild
Can you send link for map?
Link above in the comments
the monk
Wait won't there be no zombies or?
whats the exact name of the mod?
Return to monke.
No civilizations means no zomboids ?
Is there any Z ?
There are zombies on this map, yes.
where are the links?
There are zombies?
Does this still include zombies? Lol
Yep!
Arean?
no but i have tried to survive project zomboid with the modded blind trait.
I dont know I find wilderness easier than the city
Your playing minecraft at that point
Egg
Lol
