I don't think that's a good strategy. You start high & keep losing. Go low & accumulate then when you have won some money go high. But then, that's me.

You did great, nerves of steel. Glad you kept going. That’s what happens to me, I try to bet big but I don’t hit anything and no red. I change bets and do everything I can and nothing! So discouraging, when I watch others kill it with $300 in. Soooo crazy. I llost $8,000 Wed night. Could not get anything to pay! Sooooo discouraging. But you know you get it all back and more!
