My parents had one of these, With a blue hull, it was called Guernsey Bulldog. They sold it in the late 1980's... does any one know if its still around? Great memories, it spent most of the 80' in the Solent area. Moored in Keyhaven (behind Hurst Castle).
To the untrained eye, mine, you would think that she was a Fairey Marine. What do I know I have a genoa on my boat. I love all older boats though, thanks for the video 😀.
What a fantastic job. Are there any other modern boats with a full 26 degree hull? Even the highest performance boats have a 24 degree hull at most that I have read about. Is it an I/O drive?
Very few boats have a consistent angle from transom to stem these days as they tend to use modified or variable vee hills that are sharper at the bow and flatten off towards the stern. That said some of these designs are still pretty sharp at the transom particularly some RIBs which can rely on their tubes to add stability. I’m not sure of the exact number but I’d think Scorpion, Goldfish, Rib-eye and Cormate must be close to that.
Wow…what a gorgeous little boat …. Fantastic restoration too …really great job …just a shame it seems a little under powered …maybe a pair of 250hp Mercruisers would of fitted the bill 🤔🤔🤔👍😎🚤🚤
Great boat
