Loving these battle reports, Recently picked up Epic Armageddon rulebook and looking forward to some of my own battles, I have been playing around with the earlier editions and another game called Dirtside 2. The "Yea" kid is really funny, looking forward to the next battle report.
@@warhq ok then it's still only weapons that can shoot, small arms cannot be used unless it's an assault. If the target is in a building it's not +1 to save, it's -1 to hit then they get to choose either their armour save or the building save which is I believe 4+.
Great bat rep. What I'd love to see if you are inclined to do so is a few of the practice scenarios or maybe a how to play series. These old rule sets can be a bit wordy and difficult to parse. Just an idea. Either way I always look forward to another upload from the bunker. 🤙
I really wish that more Epic players would put even a teensy shred of effort into the boards they play on. Why are the cities always surrounded by greenery? Why is there a wooded hill in the middle of an urban area? Why aren't there any roads? etc. If the terrain on a table is the so-called 'third army on the board,' then people have GOT to stop just phoning it in. And that applies to things chosen to be objectives, too. Why are those little building thingies there, and why would they be of any importance? I grant that Epic as written is hampered by the silly objectives rules (There are HOW many? And every game has the exact same ones??) and I'm glad to see anyone breaking from that, but like... slap a crossroads down, designate this building a hospital, a supply dump, a manufactorum or something, so possession of it matters, narratively. Games that do that are far, far more interesting. All constructive criticism aside, I love those Imperial fists! They look nice and crisp, I'm digging it, and the freshly-printed Ork models are really cool- I Especially love the jump-pack boyz (i forget the proper name) rising on exhaust plumes of smoke and fire. Some of the old GW stuff holds up pretty well- Space Marines and their vehicles, some of the old Leman Russes etc, and some of it has just aged really poorly- most of the Ork stuff- so seeing people that have revitalized and updated kits for this game is really neat.
Thanks for the feedback. I am living in storage with no proper setup atm. I don't even know where half my terrain is. I did find my grass ping pong table though! Lol. I have printed multiple awesome scenery pieces, but no time to complete them before this batrep. These guys just came around, so it was like, lets roll bitches!
I think you make some good points but also I think Lucius deserves a lot of kudos for just making some content for UA-cam and getting other people motivated to play! I think as he sets up his board it will get better and better. Epic 40,000 the penultimate version of epic has objectives that act more like stories, I've been thinking about ways to use them in epic Armageddon.
I actually agree with you both. Prettier content is there, but I am very limited ATM until I actually have a hobby space beyond a cargo container, lol. I am a hobbyist, and love painting and modelling terrain. I guess the objective with this one is just have a fun game. The rest will come, in other game systems I am super competitive / tournament focused and give detailed breakdowns of strategies. I will do this for epic eventually. 😎

Very nice battle rep. Enjoyed it thoroughly

I will have to re-read that one. They were in 15cm of the 2 units they shot at with bolters etc.
Assault is a totally different action to single or double. im with imacie.
@@warhq no worries😀 lovin' the content youre putting out
You missed the critical hit test on the war engines (3.2.3) but other than that it’s a fun video. Do more of them 😄😄
Thanks for watching, always a couple of slip ups

Thanks mate. I have a actual series planned on how to play, how to get into EA etc. But great suggestion.
