Trying to fix all glitches with the PS Vita homebrew browser! The most common glitches are: The black screen, app crashing when you select something, and it is freezing randomly.

god bless you bro thx so much and ps, if you want to download the megafile one dont do the update it messes it up just use the stock one.
For people installing recently (2022): it took me up to six minutes for it to work, but it eventually loaded! I didn't need to follow any of the other steps in the video either.

If anyone's worried that it's not working, I've just had to wait 4 mins 37 secs for it to load. Thought it wasn't working the first couple of tries, but then I saw comments saying it could take 6 mins to load. Patience is key 😂

Hi James, need your help. Each time I launch vita homebrew browser it lauches the built-in browser app separely. When i switch back to the vita homebrew browser, it again switches over to the built-in browser app. I tried deleting (even the hb browser in data folder in ux0 vitashell) and re-installing again, but same issue.
Installing the "fixed" version, updating it to the current version, then waiting 2-3 mins on the black screen made it work for me.
Would only work for me if I used the fixed version but didn't update. Updating cause the same error message I was getting before.

help!!! I do not understand, i start vita homebrew browser and I get a message saying "could't check for update" resulting in a black screen, what can I do?

I got the fixed version i still get the black screen i also have an error pop up before it tries to load
Both versions are giving me errors....... Reinstalled the original version and now it works woohoo! Thankyou so much. Left a like. It loaded up once and now it's throwing me constant errors again I'm sick of this.

The problem is that mac users search for options to download files directly on Vita cause content manager doesn’t update for latest os anymore.

VitaHBBrowser file is not showing up on my uxo to redownload after downloading the blackscreen version on my pc. I hit select and it says its USB connected too. Please help.
Or just update to the latest version of VHBB, it fixes the black screen issue.
The fixed worked. It said Error 404, but then loaded after the black screen. (CFW 3.65)

Thanx. All I had to do was wait a few minutes. It happens only at the first start up after the app install.
Mine is more severe my psvita is permanently stuck on a black screen nothing I do seems to do anything no audio can be heard touch screen doesn’t work or the Controls it’s also permanently on can’t turn it off I don’t know if I need to get a new one or if this is fixable.

I’m wondering if you can help me fix my pstv. I bought it used and it turned out to be modded on 3.65 it had these programs on it h encore, vita shell, simple account switcher, tf card plugin tool, and enso.
I opened enso and I did the unhack through there by I believe pressing the triangle. I then formatted the system so that I could start from scratch. When I go to system update it stalls and says msg_system_update I can exit out if it but I can never go further. I can’t sign into the PlayStation store to update the system also. Do you have a solution for me. I even tried to do a system restore and it didn’t fix it. I just wanted to bring it back to stock. Any thoughts or suggestions for this fix. I’ve looked online but I really can’t find much on how to fix this issue.

Just a quick question ..uninstalling the homebrew browser wont delete your mod will it ? Its just a way to download new emulators and such ?
I’m watching a video on how to fix crashing issues but I managed to make the thing crash more from this video I did the plugins thing and downloaded them all and now when I go into h encore it goes to black and tunes off and then restarts

will it use the same method to reinstall autoplugin 2 to the newest version? i cant update through the autoplugin 2 itself because theres an error message after we pressed the update menu. my current autoplugin 2 version: 1.81
or should uninstall all the plugin first, then delete the autoplugin 2?
New version didn't work, at least after a 3 minutes. Fixed version worked, it was black for about 30 seconds. It asked me to update to later version, I hit no.

Any idea on how to fix the trophies app? i keep getting a "The data is corrupt. (NP-6185-0)" message everytime i try to sync/view my PSN trophies, i was on 3.73 and downgraded to 3.60 enso to see if it would fix the error but it's still there, i don't want to lose my trophies :(
Guys I have a rly big problem, my vita goes in black screen when i try to turn it on, I can only open up safe mode and It says its in the latest version of the update. I did this while trying to downgrade my vita from 3.73 to 3.65. Anyone know a fix?

I still get the 404 error code. I will set it to the side and see if it ever loads. I'll let you know.
Update: I fell asleep for about 1.5 hrs and when I woke up the app was fully loaded and works perfectly fine now. Patience is a virtue.

Dont know if you'll get this but what help me was transfer h encore over wifi not USB, and make sure Not to trim it. Also make sure qcma is up to date. After that just keep trying if it still crash because it has 25% success rate so close thy app and reopen
It isn't a black screen issue im having, whenever I click on something in the application it says "error occurred c2-1282-1" and then throws me out (V0.92)

the homebrew wiki browser is a different hbb. it got nothin to do with the original (1st) hbb by rinnegattemante.
the wiki hbb is by silica & pina , and is the one thats still workin for me , but its not that loaded with all homebrew apps .
correct me if i'm wrong.

Can i know why cant i install fully in vitashell nfs mw. It comes around 67% after 3 hours and then it freezes. Help me
You can just download it from NPS browser in pc
Then after you download it you can just simply transfer the file into the Uxo then find the file called app and then you're good just make sure to refresh vita shell but if you ran into problems just delete the file and re install it

Hi everyone I’m having problems with opening my pkgj app
I opens the console and it just didn’t work any more
(It was working a few weeks ago)
And I down graded to 5.4 and updated to 5.5
Downloaded all the plugins
And it just doesn’t work
I’m on 3.65 and using h-encore (the first version)

can not delete the browser folder.
First, you install Fixed Homebrew Browser and turn it on. You turn off and the second time you turn on the update. It will take a while, but it will turn on. Ready
I installed the "fix" and updating it killed it again.

Yeah, I’ve done all of these things and the app still won’t work. I can get it to show the store front but the moment I click on anything, the app crashes. I’ve downgraded to 3.6, done a total fresh install of Enso on my Vita, and still, this app won’t work. Not sure what the deal is but it feels like the app itself is glitchy/unstable.
i have the exact problem i downgraded to 3.60 and for some reason it dint work even with the "fixed" version did you find out how to fix it?
@@jbg2408 Unfortunately no. I just have to manually add VPK install files for any app I want to install. It sucks.
@@leeartlee915 at the end it worked for me i just set my ps screen on time to 30 minute and i waited and it worked so i suggest you to just set 30 minuto of on screen and then wait

If the size is not showing , something is wrong with the sdcard or the sd2vita
check the sd first for errors separately on pc or smth and see if it works

How fucking ionic I went to vitashell and my ps vita just shit it’s self and is on a loading pitch black screen. I’m soft locked with the menu music.

Previous version was unusable aswel, gave up on this long ago... Takes ages to load when it's not crashing right away, if you get the chance to have a look inside it it will just crash after 3 app browsed...
