    I assume this will work on a Searwood 600?

    • @ChefJasonMorse
      @ChefJasonMorse 4 місяці тому +1

      Yes it will, BUT make sure to buy the correct Rotisserie setup. Weber has an updated one that fits the Searwood. Chef Jason

      @@ChefJasonMorse I contacted Weber and they said this basket won't work with the Searwood Grill, but I don't see why not. I've seen other baskets on a Searwood on UA-cam...but this one is a bit larger, maybe that's why?

      @@ricksliny I have the Searwood xl, with the new rotisserie for the Searwood models and I use this basket all the time without issues. Let me check with Weber. What size Searwood do you have? Chef Jason

      I am waiting for my XL to be delivered. Does it work in it with the grates on?

      @ChefJasonMorse 4 місяці тому

      @@RickySinger-mq9se yes. Take out the top shelf, add the new rotisserie and get to work.

    Looks like the basket removes a lot of rub and skin at your end product. Don't seem to crispy either before your sauce them up.

      Hi Denis, you will lose some rub, but not the skin, these are now self basting wings. If you like them more crispy, turn up the temp by 50˚ and you should get extra crispy. Happy Cooking, Chef Jason

    Nice concept but looks to be a pain in the anus to clean up.

      it can be if you let it dry after cooking, while its still warm I spray it down with some Dawn PowerWash, let is soak for a bit and scrub it clean. takes a little bit of elbow grease, but the tasty food I cook in here is worth the extra effort. Chef Jason

      Wonder what the max number of wings is? I have 5 adults at home to feed.

    Just another spit basket video that does NOT result in crispy wings.

      one of the things I have learned the more I cook on this, cranking the temp up even hotter is a good thing, the basket heat soaks a good amount of grill temp, so hotter is a good thing. I use this basket a ton and enjoy it for a lot of different things. Happy cooking, Chef Jason
