An absolutely exquisite video you've pulled out hete mate. Some real nice camera work and locations to match the vibe of the tour. Really glad to hang around with you once again in the afternoon from Wormlighton Crossing, top quality mate :)
In terms of purely aesthetic design, it's amazing how well the shape and size of the Western has aged. It doesn't look outdated in the way that, perhaps a class 40 does. Such a shame the class had such a short service life and was never exploited to its full mechanical potential. It would have been really interesting to see the basic parts of a Western, the hydraulic bits, in service today with modern control gear and higher reliability!
Fantastic video, awesome captures. :)
Thank you! :)

Thanks mate! Yes was great to meet up, not many better ways of spending a Sunday afternoon than chasing a Western about 😃
@@Trainline5000 Very Welcome :) I agree on that! Was a cracking afternoon!
Spot on filming particularly at the end. It never normally comes up north so I appreciate someone filming it so well. Paul 👍
Thank you very much! Hopefully the Western will be out and about a lot more soon 👍
Beautiful old lady
