It would have been nice to actually see you put the parts together and what screws went where. Unfortunately, not any of that happened. No one seems to do a good job on the sub assembly and there are no instructions on many of those saws. Nothing on the web sites either.
Hey I know it's been a couple years but mine came with two of these little black plastic bumper things about 1" long in the bag with the dogs. I don't know where they go and the manual doesn't mention them. Any ideas? Edit: they have a small ribbed stud on them that looks like they press in somewhere but darned if I know.
In hindsight that post looks like a keyhole shape and seems like they would install in the backside of the sprocket cover over where the bolts holding the dogs went in. New to me, never seen those on a saw before.
If it’s what I think you are talking about they are spacers that go between the dogs and the bolts go through them. I will take a look at mine tonight and see if I see them.
@@Faircloth87 maybe they changed the design. They do kinda look like spacers. I figured out they go under the sprocket cover and they have kind of a keyhole shaped post that only fits one way (not interchangeable). But their is no bolt hole in mine. The bolt is hidden underneath these. I see there have been a few different designs of this saw. The original blue ones like yours (still for sale), the orange and black/gray ones (like mine), and the carbon fiber pro ones (G660 Pro) with a few upgrades.
It is still going strong! I cut roughly 4-5 cords of hard oak across the winter and early spring this year and it still fires right up and runs like a champ.
bought the exact same kit off Amazon. 2 weeks to arrive and out the box the chain guard was cracked, then tried to start for 2 hours no luck. Took it to local small engine shop and they diagnosed it had a bad ignition coil. No spark to the plug. Seller didn't want to return it, after 1 week arguing with them they gave me a NJ address to send it. 10 days later AFTER is was delivered they still didn't refund me cost +$70 to ship it back. Escalated to Amazon for their A-Z Guarantee and should refund from Amazon in a few days. I highly recommend NOT buying this chinese shit.
Dang dude, sorry you had such a bad experience. I’ve been running mine over 2 years now with only normal maintenance and zero issues. Guess there’s always one bad one
@@Faircloth87 I'm all about going cheap for incidental needs like this and hoping to get that good one that could last. But when things from China don't work, regardless of cost. They are impossible to deal with. This isn't my first bad experience; one of several

I get my Holzfarma saws together. And broken in from dealer. This way no mistakes. 😂
I just got mine yesterday. the handle is not an exact fit. I might have to bend it a tad. Still happy tho.
A little late but Oof that bar will run you through the chains
Did you notice the back cover of the manual states use 25:1 and the inside says 50:1 fuel?
I just got one & noticed. Am I supposed to run 25:1? I guess for the 1st 3 tanks?
Is this the $ 179.00 kit? That you assemble yourself?
Jeremy Nuckols No. It is the pre-assembled powerhead with bar. Very little assembly required and around $320 delivered.

Turn your mic on next time.
Just got mine today 😁 took 35 days. This China virus has slowed down delivery
Thought it would be step by step not just music. Sorry brother
how did it hold up after all this time?, i really wanna buy one of them 60cc ones, for just cutting big firewood
Runs like a damn top. Used it with a 25”, 36”, and 42” bar and cut a ton of big stuff and it’s never skipped a beat.
@@Faircloth87 damn, now you make me spend money 🤣🤣, thanks for the reply
@@Faircloth87how it working now 8 months later, Len 👍
