I have the new Beats Pill, it’s good, and it does the fancy AirPods and Beats pairing in control centre too. But the Bose Soundlink Flex is extremely close.
Or could be better? I think flex is a better option in terms of sound quality. But practicality, beats the winner with its battery life and lossless sound when plugged, and with its find my feature.
I have two beats Pills, I’ve had them for a couple months now. I love them. I use them more than any of my other speakers I’ve had. The sound is so clear and Apple-like. Replaced my Bose Flex’s and is better than my Flip 6 or my soundcore x600’s!
Hi, I have two Bose Flex and listen in stereo mode, which can be a pain to connect with the app. How do you find the Beats Pills in stereo mode ? Better ? Thanks in advance
I have the original Jbl Boombox and the Jbl Xtreme 2, just got the Beats Pill and it sounds almost as good as the Xtreme 2. I’d get another beats pill but have the jbl’s to pair up together and they sound insane
I just recently purchase the new JBL extreme 4. And for $380 I’m not impressed. I’m thinking returning it and getting two of these and still save money
@@RichieLanderos Apple (Beats) is fudging the numbers. It may say it is ip67 but it is not. The ip67 rating = waterproof, and the Pill is not waterproof. It is water resistant, so it is really ip66. When asked about using in the shower, here are their responses; From Apple: Water resistance and dust resistance are not permanent conditions. Resistance might decrease as a result of normal wear. Here's how to prevent damage to your Beats Pill due to contact with liquid: Don't expose your Beats Pill to pressurized water or high velocity water, such as when showering From Bose: You can immerse the speaker in water for up to 30 minutes at a depth of up to 3.3 ft (1 m). It can also be used while showering and in the rain or snow. Apple knew the competing Bose speaker had a 67 rating, so they lied and called their Pill a 67 as well. They need to be called out on this.
@@RichieLanderos I gave a factual reply to your statement, with quotes from both Apple and Bose whether they could be used in the shower.....and the post got conveniently deleted. I guess it wasn't positive enough for this infomercial. Since I can't post it here, just do a search of what the ip67 requirements are. Hint: waterproof, not water resistant, but waterproof. Apple using words like "water resistant and "dust resistant" is the definition of ip66. The Bose speaker can be submerged in 3-ft of water for 30 minutes, the Pill can just get splashed on but not much more.
Have you guys reviewed the Bravia theater U? I’d certainly be interested in hearing a more informative analysis from you guys, but maybe the device is too niche to do a review on
I love them but can't understand why they are just mono like most bluetooth speakers, I have two ears so why mono only in 2024 lol? For that reason only I will not be buying sadly.
@@Gwarzonicus well I have an old Denon Envaya DSB 250 which does stereo really well as a single speaker plus I believe you can pair 2 as a stereo pair also. Give me stereo and let me decide lol
Could you please pair it to a nest audio or nest mini and check if the double clicks summons google assistant? I’m looking for one of these mostly for this kind of use
The OG Beats Pill had a dedicated space in my carry-on bag. Love that it's back. And, yeah, you should just go ahead and get two.

@@pudongski the Bose suits more types of music as well. But you get occasional software glitches.
Can it be set to always on while plugged in?

Fun review! Two for the stereo!

If you want a speaker for the shower get the Bose SoundLink Flex, which is waterproof. The Pill is only water resistant.
They both have the same ip67 rating 😂

Audio quality is the shortest segment for a portable speaker
I wish it went into Stereo first than amplify first

Does it do what OG beats did and slap you with bass or does it just sound average?
Slap a da bass . laters on the Man J Jobin
CAN SOMEONE EXPLAIN OR SHOW ME HOW STEREO AUDIO WORKS OR DUAL AUDIO? I have 2 of em. Is there a app????
Pill pushers. 😮😮😮😮😂😂😂😂

it would make much of a difference since its faces one direction. at 150 getting two for a stereo setup makes sense

At its price there is literally no reason to buy it. Every listed feature is standard on $50 speakers...
2022? Beats Pill has been dead since like 2018 😆

Whats the app for it????? Thres only a app for beats pill+
Can you connect an aux cable using usb c to aux cable?
Can do the same with the Bose SoundLink flex and sounds markedly better
This or JBL Flip 6?
Why the flip 6 its 100 where’s this is 150

Caleb Denison, he’s SUPER solid. He’s literally carrying this channel on his back.

$300 for 2 tiny a** speakers, LOL

Dr Dre sold beats to apple more then 10 years ago 😂 just look it up he's no longer attached
