Read all NCERT books of social science 6-12.
Read newspapers.
Very important. Try to manage time. For example even if you want to study for just 1 or half hour a day for UPSC(ncerts after that polity by lakshmikant as of now for you) don't skip for what ever reason. This quality will be very very helpful
