This was in 2020 and a civil case, but if I am remembering correctly it has been done in a criminal case since then. Good measures. I think they should trace all his financial activities to see where he has no doubt dumped money and other assets to friends and family who will revert the wealth back to him eventually, regarding the civil judgement involving the two Georgia state election workers. I don't know what kind of seizure options would be available to the government but he sure shouldn't be allowed to benefit from friendly laundering. I just hope he hasn't snuck out of the country already, moving himself and other ASSets into some foreign country that the US does not have extradition powers with. Then it would be time for a credible bounty hunter!

That would have worked years ago but now we must insist he stay. Those that try to end democracy must be deprived of their rights of access to it, at least for a time. It is not enough to allow him to run and hide even for the rest of his life. In that situation he might still have privileges stemming from laundered monies and other assets to friends / family. He must be brought to justice where he can officially be stripped of all but the most fundamentally inherent principles of democracy (ie: the few basic rights afforded to incarcerated individuals) for however long his incarceration lasts.

When I took civil procedure thirty years ago, the professor taught us that people in the U.S. have a legal obligation to accept service of process. Rudy Giuliani is a law school graduate, a former attorney, and a former prosecutor. He is surely aware of this.

Giuliani was leading a pretty good life. Most of his reputation was still intact and his law firm generated enough income for him to have a very comfortable lifestyle. I’m only guessing but I think what was missing was the fame. Not local fame, he was always going to be a celebrity in New York, I think it was the national spotlight. It started with Rudy, the fearless prosecutor taking on the mob and then it was Rudy, America’s mayor. I think he saw Donald Trump as his one last chance on the national stage. The only thing that Rudy missed was that Donald Trump has always been a one man show.
