And it was his second test in this matter. I’m sure the women want him to keep testing until they find the one that fits their narrative and gives them the answer they want as opposed to the truth.
They all should have taken the test. Not just one person.
During a custody battle with my ex, she accused me of molesting our sons. She later admitted in a cross examination that she only said that because she was mad at me. My sons have never forgiven her for this lie and for other reasons. They have had nothing to do with her for the past 18 years.
It will stay with the accused. It’s wrong. And it’s used so easily by women and often stepchildren.

I think it’s hypocritical that when someone fails a lie detector test, the science is amazing and everyone trusts it, but when someone, who they WANT to be lying, actually tells the truth, all the sudden the test is wrong and he cheated it. I’m shocked that Dr Phil just completely dismissed the polygraph results after he’s always defending how good the test and the examiner is.

I feel so very bad for innocent men that are accused of this. I am so sorry. I personally haven't been sexually abused by a parent, but I have by a stepbrother, a uncle, a cousin and friend of the family. So when someone that is innocent is accused, it's a big DEAL. Stop this madness!

as a women, I just feel like they should’ve given the women tests as well. I’m not saying they’re completely lying but just to settle it, obviously the man was proven not guilty and he’s innocent. just the way they were crying doesn’t sit right with me.
They are crying because (in their minds) NOW they are not being believed. They are crying because they are afraid that they will not be taken seriously. Either he is a monster or they are liars. There is no third way. And they are crying because NOW (with him passing the lie detector) he has PROVEN his innocence which (logically) proves that they are liars. So OF COURSE they have to cry to get some sympathy (any sympathy) to try and gain allies in the world of public opinion.
They are not upset that he molested him. They are upset that he passed the lie detector which makes their accusations look bad. They are upset because this may have "caught" them so to speak. But no, they will never take any tests because they KNOW they are lying. And Dr Phil saying that he doesn't think they are lying doesn't change anything. That is all just for show. Dr Phil knew they were lying from day one.

It's not as simple as "either he's lying or they're lying". If a person believes what they're saying, then they believe it to be true.
A person fails these tests when they're lying and they know they're lying. It's really that simple.

Lie detector tests are never 100%. You cannot use them as a way to make a true judgement. Even doctor Phil says he doesn’t think anyone is lying, that there is just a lot going on and people are getting confused.
So the guy passes the test and Doctor Phil has to make him sound guilty. Why are the girls and the ex-wife not taking lie detector tests. It's like the show set this guy up.
Passing doesn't mean that what you are saying isn't a lie. It just means that he personally believes what he is saying to be the truth. It doesn't matter what the actual truth is, polygraphs can't find that, all they can do is tell you whether or not the test taker is purposefully and knowingly lying. If someone is lying but they don't know that they are because they believe what they are saying to be the truth, they will pass solely because they believe their own lies. Polygraphs are worthless

I think these women were abused by someone - but it wasn't the stepfather. I think someone did sexually abuse these women when they were children and the mom coached them to say it was the stepfather.
The step daughters have been telling this lie for so many years that they now believe it. Give the daughters a polygraph test.
If they believe it actually happened even though it didn't, they might pass the polygraph test. I think this is the main reason why it's not allowed in the court of law

That's not how polygraphs work. They tell you only what you believe to be the truth. Say for example that you genuinely believe with every fibre of your being that the sky is green. If you take a polygraph test about the colour of the sky being green, you will pass because you genuinely believe that to be the truth. It doesn't matter what the colour of the sky actually is, what matters is whether or not you believe what you say. If you believe it, you will always pass a polygraph.

He’s saying that if he did actually touch them and the results of the polygraph said otherwise, then their reactions should’ve been a lot different. I am disappointed in Dr. Phil’s explanation as to why this man passed his polygraph test. The test reflects the persons memory and I think Dr. Phil just continued to cast doubt on this guy even though the polygraph showed he told the truth. If it would have come back that he failed, Phil would have crucified him. Shame on Dr. Phil for being dishonest and making things up as he goes. Lost a lot of respect for him.
This guy would maybe get a better outcome on Steve Wilkos.

Poor guy is accused of abuse, goes on TV to prove his innocence, takes a lie detector test, passes it, and then still has Dr Phil frame it in such a way as to make him sound guilty!
At least give the accusers the test as well to see if they genuinely believe their allegations if you're going to go down this "lie detectors only measure what you perceive to be the truth" road.
Maybe they just have completely opposite perceptions of the same events and nobody is lying, but it's just as possible that the accusers are just making it up.
If you can't just take his word for it that he does not perceive that he did it, then you can't just take their word for it that they do perceive that he did it either. Without them also taking a test then you have to say that the evidence suggests this guy is innocent. Period.

What I am saying is that in the case of one person's word against the other, with no other evidence to go on, then the person who passed a lie detector test should at least be presumed innocent until proven guilty.

Polygraphs will only tell what the test taker believes to be the truth.
Say, for example, that you genuinely believe that the sky is green. If you sit down to take a polygraph about the colour of the sky, you will always pass because you genuinely believe what you're saying to be the truth, even when we know for a fact that the sky is not green.
This man genuinely believes he did not harm them, and therefore he passed. He passed not because he was telling the truth, but because he 100% believes his lies to the point where he doesn't even realise he's lying.

When a woman erroneously accuses a man, for whatever reason, his life will never be the same. His reputation is ruined for the rest of his life. Men who were completely innocent of the accusations have ended their own lives due to the fallout that resulted from false accusations made by women. What happens to the women when their lies are uncovered? Absolutely nothing. I suspect the ex-wife raised these girls and told them for years that their father abused them. They will likely go to their graves believing this is the truth. They should have had all concerned take the polygraph test.

Okay, there maybe a reason that's not mentioned here. I know because I had alcoholics in my family. They can get so waisted and not remember something they did. So in their mind, they may not remember the act, but the sober people around them do. I had an Uncle that would wake up in different places and not remember how he got there. He could be guilty, and not have knowledge of it.
I was accused once. It can destroy your life. I contemplated suicide. Fortunately my wife was incredibly supportive. I also contacted the Police and had a good conversation with them. A few years later, this person was imprisoned for dealing drugs, theft and false pretensions resulting in criminal gain. I felt slightly vindicated, but mud sticks. Some extended family members still avoid me and I have not seen some of my Nephews or Nieces for years. I don’t blame them. As a father and grandfather, I would never allow contact with any of my babies with a suspect person. This individual who started this lie is the one I despise. A lie can cause so much damage.

Polygraph testing? If they're not relied on in a court of law, then they're of no use.
Dr. Phil is very gender biased on a lot of these episodes. He doesn’t always hold women accountable, and never makes the females do the polygraph test. He should.

what if we will give them alcohol for the test? with that say lie is will more hard and if we dont have more good choose so it is must admissible cause we dont have more good thing and we can use this test for girls (victims)

yeah f I was his situation I will do it to there is a serious case of favoritism here, not testing girls means looking at it with prejudice, it also contradicts the principle that the prosecution should come with evidence.

This highlights why it is completely morally objectionable to use a polygraph in this way in the first place. They are not actually reliable. If they were, they would be used in criminal trials.
