Very cool video. I wouldn't have mind if he had put the whole scene back to back so you could see how each actor build beginning, middle and end. But great idea to see this. It's like being in a class.
Harsha DCruz we will very soon. We set up a Patreon account to be able to produce more videos faster but we’ll develop this channel much more in the months to come anyways 💪🎭
I would disagree with that arbitrary distinction ;) Some of those actors are actually professionals and getting paid to act regularly at that point. A lot of "famous actors" have different techniques, or no techniques, and some of them don't produce great performances when they work in an environment that they don't know, for a role that doesn't perfectly suit them, etc. Most importantly, it was a discovery of this acting approach for all of them during a short workshop, on a scene they had just received. There weren't many takes like they would be for a movie you would then edit to chose only 1 out of 5 or 10, and spend whole days of shooting for 2 or 3 "useful" minutes of film in the end. But yes we might do more of these in different conditions, and document better what the conditions actually are. Thanks for commenting.
It was their first Meisner workshop for most of them I think, and a first exploration in just one take. It was more to show a bit of the work as well as people's personalities in the same role, but thanks for your feedback.
sheesh! being an actor is hard , much respect!
1st girl black sweatshirt... So good

Thanks ! it was a compilation of first takes but we will try to do longer videos and show exercices in full.
Love how deep the emotion was and how hard they pushed😂😂😂😊😊😊
The first lady in the black jumper is actually incredible.
That line from this scene gets me every time...."Dogs chase squirrels, boys chase dogs..." tells the whole story in one phrase
Which method does these actors followed ?
Especially, I like the black guy Acting. I want to know what is the method he follows
Meisner Technique ! this class was given at the Paris Meisner Studio
Thank you very much PlayGrounds Channel
And by the way, I commented earlier also. If u also make a video on Stanislavsky class it will be very helpful for the students. Thankyou

@@PlayGroundsChannelMeisner was the greatest living acting teacher of all time in my opinion
I did this scene in acting class, Rabbit hole
beginner level actors. This would be awesome with professionals.

Amazing
Um, no.
This is a masterpiece. So little views. The world is truly sick
🤗
Bad acting they played the emotion
Yeah. I'm floored by the comments that seem to think this is good acting. They need more Meisner and less Strasburg.
