one thing you need to understand about Seventeen is they are not afraid to play with gender roles Many members of the group have spoken on LGBTQ support. Hoshi did a solo that was based on female concept, Vernon has said many times he is not afraid to dress in a feminine matter. Minghao has stated to him clothes are genderless, they also when filming the Thanks Mv agreed on showing them applying their makeup. While they have never gone fully feminine they do like to play with androgny. Vernon is also a big fan of some artist who were considered Glam and also played with gender roles as well as a fan of punk which is kind of genderless as well because many punk individuals wore makeup and more feminine style of clothing and hair. As a gay man I love Seventeen because of this I feel my community is being represented by the group.
what you were saying about the makeup is really interesting. i know that you know what you're talking about, but their stage makeup actually does tend to go for what could probably be argued as feminine. hoshi especially. his super bold dramatic eye looks are incredible
love this reaction ! i feel like it embodied the way the fandom reacted to each mv when it dropped every week. hiphop unit had us all screaming cause the mv had so many easter eggs, and of course the visuals were so insane. performance unit had us all in shock and awe with the theme, as well as how good the choreo is. and for the vocal unit, caratland was in tears! it was so emotional and touching. so to see you go through those emotions as well really made me appreciate this reaction !!

I’m so excited to see the behinds! I of course love them all and they all are biases and wreckers but it really seems the members that really stick in my brain. For biases are Wonwoo, DK, Seungkwan and The8 sneaking his way in there 🤩 then wreckers I’d have to go S.Coups, Mingyu and Joshua.
