The Little King
An entertaining tribute to all those little children that insist on learning
things the hard way
. The little King always seems to have far more important things to do than
rule his kingdom … such as build snowmen which seem to always melt away, cut
his own hair which turns out to be a disaster, and fry pancakes which end up
on the ceiling!
But then, what should we expect from a 5 year-old King? Full
of playful and stubborn curiosity, this classically animated mischief-maker
does have his supportive circle of animal friends close by … but they are
sometimes no help at all! Gertie the horse, Woofie the dog, Tiger the cat
and the squirrel Bushy cannot speak … but the little King always seems to
understand them well.
The little King also talks to the storyteller, who follows him on his
misadventures and gives him disregarded advice. As with every 5 year-old the
little King always wants to do things his way; he’s got his own ideas!
Sometimes embarrassed by his own behavior but always happy to get on with
the next adventure, the little King never gives up until he finds a
solution.

Die Reihe "Der kleine König" ist ein unterhaltsamer Beitrag für Kinder, die gerne ihre eigenen Erfahrungen
machen- auch wenn sie dabei mal auf die Nase fallen.
Der kleine König hat meistens Wichtigeres zu tun, als sein Königreich zu
regieren ... zB Schneemänner bauen, die ihm davonlaufen- oder sich die Haare
zu schneiden, was im Disaster endet- oder auch Pfannkuchen zu backen, die an
der Decke kleben bleiben.
Aber was kann man von einem
4-5 jährigen König auch erwarten? Verspielt und voller Neugierde probiert er
alles aus, was ihm der Alltag in Schloss und Garten anbietet. Dabei helfen
ihm seine Freunde, das heißt, sie versuchen ihr Möglichstes:
Sein Lieblingspferd Grete, der Hund Wuffi, die Katze Tiger, Buschel, das
Eichörnchen und sein Vogel Pieps können nicht sprechen, aber der kleine
König scheint sie trotzdem zu verstehen.
Der kleine König spricht auch mit dem Geschichtenerzähler, der ihn in allen
Lebenslagen begleitet und behütet - und ihm jede Menge gute Ratschläge gibt,
die aber meist nicht beachtet werden. Wie jedes andere Kind (zwischen 2 und
8J.) will der kleine König seinen eigenen Weg finden, und er hat jede Menge
Ideen! Manchmal allerdings wird ihm Bange vor der eigenen Courage - aber er
freut sich immer wieder aufs nächste Abenetuer und gibt nie auf, ehe er
seine eigene Lösung gefunden hat.
