This is a very good band. Their band played with my friend's husband band, the Cold War Kids. I would definintely try to drive out to San Diego to listen to this band. They sound awesome!
Thanks RRR family. Throughout the years Ive been coping with life. because that's what we got here and now. :) dying is fine. continual prayers and dancing, Loveski. -Deens
I a world where there is so much confrontation already, bands like this are promoting peace encorporating the love of mother earth which is being destroyed every second.
first I've seen this, actually saw them live for the first time in Toronto last month, small crowd for a Sunday(someone said he wish he could go n thought it was saturday boo), great sound but next time road trip to US(actually first show I been to and paid in a while, don't like large shows)... This was my fav CD for years,,,,2009 and knew little of the band, SOOO much so I picked up the album and thought they were NOT called RA RA RIOT and actually called the RHUMB line(I did not keep the cd case).... and years after would run into places looking for a new release when I realized my mistake and missed a whole album and then had 2 to catch up on... I was so dumb.... Until a month or so I didn't even know what they looked like really as the Beta Love Video(s) were obscure but loved the songs... .fav band to sketch n illustrate to...keep my pulse up late at night when i should sleep...
I really like this video, only just found these. can any fans tell me any other songs / if they have album/s what's good? I've literally just listened to 'can you tell' and then this, impressed.
I saw them in SD a few weeks ago, and I loved them. I also agree, Cold War Kids DID NOT deserve the credit they got, they didn't even play the two songs that are practically keeping them in the business. I had never heard of Ra Ra Riot before that but now I love them :D Obviously everyone else thought the same thing :D
I know what you mean. Death Cab For Cutie was my one of my favorite band...then they sold out for Twilight...now all vampire teenagers, hipsters, and teens alike started listening to them.
they are coming to arkansas on the 29TH of OCT....IM SOOOOOOO READY TO SEE THEM : ) im going to bring my FLUTE and ask them if i can get on stage and play along....LMAO!
I understand this song is in reference to an E.E. Cummings poem but wanted to know if it was in anyway related to the band's late drummer John Pike. I only ask because the time line of its release is shortly following the reports of his untimely death. I'm a newer fan of this amazing band so I wouldn't know and was hoping someone might help me out with this question.
UA-cam doesn't have such great quality to deserve high quality headphones. I use my Bose headphones for my iPhone, and my Skullcrushers for my computer (+ internet surfing.) Don't make silly assumptions!
Yeah this band is awesome, I saw them with Death cab last night as well. I loved Death Cab but if Ra Ra Riot had been able to play a few more songs they might have stolen the show. Picked up a sick t-shirt of theirs.
you know a video is good when it makes you like the song even more. it's so creative!

I agree. I know that I've heard that intro before. I think it's from a Death Cab for Cutie song, but I can't figure it out!
Beautiful song and video. I enjoyed this very much and wish you guys all the best in the world :)
Great song. And I just have to say it even though it's probably getting old by now...the women in this band are stunning.

the intro reminds me of speeding cars by imogen heap

Nature is beautiful and heartbreaking.
they are coming to arkansas on the 29TH of OCT....IM SOOOOOOO READY TO SEE THEM : ) im going to bring my FLUTE and ask them if i can get on stage and play along....LMAO!

Wesley Miles is my soul mate.
I understand this song is in reference to an E.E. Cummings poem but wanted to know if it was in anyway related to the band's late drummer John Pike. WHERE MY CATIPILEIRS GO!!!!!
she is gorgeous.
wow for the first time the music video helped my opinion of a song
when I was searching for lyrics to this song I discovered the chorus is based on Edward Estlin Cummings' poem "dying is fine)but Death"
the girl who plays cello in this band is beyond beautiful.
Milo
i got all there signatures on a t-shirt at the death cab shirt in DC
Wish their next album will sound something like this- or their older albums.
I like the version on "The Rhumb Line" better, but this is cool too.
I saw these guys yesterday...THE DRUMMER GAVE A DRUM STICK! :D no big deal or anything..;)
EARGASM!!!
UA-cam doesn't have such great quality to deserve high quality headphones.
I use my Bose headphones for my iPhone, and my Skullcrushers for my computer (+ internet surfing.) Don't make silly assumptions!
this band kind of reminds me of Company of Thieves. their video for Pressure is awesome
Yeah this band is awesome, I saw them with Death cab last night as well. I loved Death Cab but if Ra Ra Riot had been able to play a few more songs they might have stolen the show. Picked up a sick t-shirt of theirs.
A leave falling never looked so pretty :-D
Oh my god, try listening to this song on Skullcandy Skullcrusher headphones.
Damn great vibration.
