Camped there many times. Last time I was there, I found my self staring down a mountain lion 30 yards away at 2am.

These are nice little campgrounds along NM 152, but the road is definitely a little crazy. Lol. We really like the campgrounds and dispersed camping areas up NM 35. We camped at Mesa Campground a few years back, it was nice. Thanks for sharing!!

We saw the sign for Mesa campground but didn't stop this time to check it out. We definitely want to go back to the Gila and stay longer next time.
