The beauty of Tom Hollander’s character is that you just knew he was a bad guy but his charm wouldn’t let you believe it. He’s just that good! Everyone in season 2 hit a home run!
Isn't his character one dimensional baddie though..we never learn why he does what he does to Tanya..
@@leif1075 I think the photo with Greg let’s you know they were working together. It seemed to me his demeanor changed after Tanya asked about it.
Incredible season. I thought last year when virtually all of the main cast got Emmy nominations it was a bit too much but this season everyone deserves it!

Tom Hollander is an amazing actor. Literally one of my favorite British character actors. He exudes spitefulness.
His faces...When Tanya asked "Is that the queen of Sicily?"

He and one of his closet friends, Ralph Fiennes, are so good at playing complex characters. The scenes with those two in the British comedy, Rev, are so good.
It wasn’t until I watched this interview that I realized what film THAT scene reminds me of: Blue Velvet. The feeling of being a voyeur and seeing what people have been trying to keep hidden away, shot in that lurid golden light that is more clinical than romantic, a nightmare sequence where there’s no murder but something dark and violent and sexual but without any eroticism.
They were so good at playing their characters that I hate them both 😂

Leo Woodall had to do the homosexual thing to prove he was a versatile actor?? I don’t think. I am sure there are enough homosexual actors to fill homosexual roles. Loved him in one day and the interviews for that. It showed he had easy access to his emotions which I would think is a great characteristic for an actor. They just did that scene for shock value.
