Don't know why, but after I heard they were breaking up I started to like Halca's songs a lot more. This one's really good. I'm gonna miss this band terribly.
@gohanchan60 I totally agree with you. I love HandMC. I love Maki but I also love Halca as well and it all depends on what style you like better. Maki is more pop while Halca's was more rock, which I really love. It only took me a couple of songs from Halca before she won me over. I'll miss them but I have their CDs so it's all good. It's just sad that there won't be any new songs from them.
Great Song! one of my fav bands very sad this is the last song from them :( i personally live Halca. She has a Great Voice. with many similarities to Maki , but her own style too. She fits right in....Swamp Man was my fav album from them they got the edge from Gouon Progressive back, with even more edge on top of that. I LOVE SWAMP MAN! lets hope for a possible reunion in the future
This reminds me about that time that i had translated this song to portuguese just to sing for a girl i liked back then as a 'serenata' (here some guys plays some music for their love as a love symbol for them). That time i was young and more happy, today i'm just a hollow guy with a low rate happyness.
@atjnAdfhhjea then they'll be stupid. Without HALCA, HaMC would've ended when Makii left. Instead, we got one more full album, two singles, and a completely new and awesome style of music. I think that's the most important thing to focus on, not whose fault the breakup was.

Meg is in 2side1BRAIN, he joined that band shortly after the break up. Yusuke formed a new band "Sun of Starve", but no music has been released yet. And Kazuto left the music business :(

Like, I don't even understand the japanese language that much but somehow through memory I was able to search this song by typing the (I assume mostly false) romaji of some lyrics: kimi no tameni shiawase tatoeba sonna kanji I don't even remember how this song got inside my brain in the first place.

@NinkaPanda I actually think she's pretty different from Makii. Her voice is different (I can tell which vocalist it is just by the voice), and they don't look anything alike.
Man, one of my favorite bands. I loved both sides of Handmc. And it's sad that the fans will forever blame Halca. But, they had a long running. And hopefully we will see the members take part in new projects. Has Makii fully retired from singing or is she just on hiatus to raise her baby? Does anyone know where I can get Re:ache? It's the last one I need and I can't fucking find it.

i just want high and mighty color to come back. i want them to tour the world and show the awesomeness of j-rock music before the split, which they never did! i'm 2 years behind the news but i just can't believe they broke up i can't even see a reason why they should stop and split. that's one off my most favored j-rock bands list.

This is the best non-maki High and Mighty Color song i ever heard. too bad they're breaking up, if they had this song for their debut without Maki they wouldnt be breaking up..
Well...I agree with you (I love Halcali) but I feel like they didn't give Haruka enough freedom. They're both great singers who can go both high and low, but their style didn't change at all. I think the rest of the band just missed Maki too much to realize Haruka succeeded her... :(
It really is unfortunate that people can't be more open minded. They're so resistant to change. Look at Nightwish and the continued whining about Anette not being Tarja, even 5 years after she got the boot. I really hope there will come a day where humanity will be more accepting of difference and change.
Not that I hate Halca... she has her won strengths and style... but after listening to H&MC for so long, the H&MC without Makii doesn't seem like it at all. I'm a bit glad that they decided to disband, because even if they continued on, they would forever be that "oh, it's Halca, not Makii. It's not the same anymore" feeling, and I don't want to drown Halca with the shadow of Makii. But this was a great song, and I enjoyed it.
THis song is wonderful...but why they disbanded..... When I hear this song there are always tears in my eyes .... I'm really sad...I can't believe it... Halca is a very good singer. I really like her. She replace Maki very good but now it's over.... I never forget my favorite band... =( Haikara forever!!!!1

well the splitting the first time was because Maki got married it was kind of sad she left the band, but what made me cry was that after two years the band was gone forever...that made cry by the way halca was good too...but i guess that they did not do as good with Maki :(
HaMC has let me down twice now, First with Makii deciding to leave to get married, and then them breaking up. I stopped listening to them after Makii left and I thought I should try to listen to them again now that they have a new vocalist and I find out they disbanded.
No :( Best Band Ever never came back. T__T Maki just went solo , Halca have some band which have few songs, and yuske made band SUN OF A STARVE which have two MV's and few songs as well.

This is probably the my favorite HMC song with Halca as a lead singer, they should do a reunion with both Maki , Halca and Yuusuke singing together
