Villain is such a title track material, it deserves MV, I wish it was a double title track along with Forever 1, Also Villain is actually a pretty standard SNSD track. They've done songs like this especially in their Japanese albums

Yoona's low voice is always charming. Her solo songs are all about her beautiful low register and of course our beloved Sunny. She's quite underrated but she is a really good singer. Just like Taeyeon, she is a versatile vocalist.
I am the happiest person every time someone recognizes Yoona's vocal or rap. Villain was produced by Tiffany and written by Tiffany and Sooyoung, who themselves told Yoona that her rapping was SO GOOD. I hope more people value the talent that Yoona takes

I am also very shock and proud at the same time the first time I heard it. The moment I heard her part, it automatically captivates me. Though every one of them did really great in their parts, there's one part that really stands out FOR ME, and that is Yoona's Rap Part. Overall they nailed it all!!

Sunny is such an underrated vocalist. It's sad that she's the only one from the vocal line who does not have a solo. Heck even Yuri, Hyo and Yoona went solo or some kind of solo.

For Villain, I personally so satisfied with Tiffany, Hyoyeon and Sunny's vocal. And of course Yoona's rap.. this is a masterpiece.
Tiffany said she wrote not less than 100 songs (maybe true, it was 500) so I am eager to listen to it..

Sadly there is no live stage of Villain. They performed Lucky Like That, Closer, and Paper Plane in their fanmeeting concert. They also performed some older songs, such as Genie, Gee, Light Up the Sky, Sailing, Kissing You, and Into the New World at their concert. Live vocals at the concert so maybe something for the Patreon in the future. It was honestly nice seeing them perform Light Up the Sky from Holiday Night album, their newest album before Forever1, and Into the New World original version because of how heavy vocal sounding those songs are. A lot of fans wanted to see them do Villain but I believe due to their schedules, they didnt have time to choreograph a new song. Sooyoung did show a little choreo to the song during their talking phase in the concert.
not having a performance for Villian should be a crime. I was looking forward to it.

Actually the meaning of kwangya is wilderness. Even the SM universe is a wilderness with so much mystery behind it. And Yoona, if you see the recording scenes, nailed the rap within minutes. Same with Sunny as well.
in this comeback you should really react to their variety show called Soshi Tam Tam ,its shows their happenings from debut stage from now ,also they also show their recordings to Forever1 and Villian etc. And for this song Tiffany produce it ,and Sooyoung wrote the lyrics for it .

Sunny is the greatest vocalist there never was. Such a missed opportunity on SM's part because she was also very popular because of her cuteness and variety skills. She could have easily debuted as a soloist after Taeyeon.

This is one of my favorite songs. Tiffany's natural/lower voice fits this song so well (vibes remind me of 'You Think'). As some members have stated in the making-of, having her as the producer brought out their best as she knows each member's vocal strengths & weaknesses. I hope we see more Soofany creations in the future (whether for SNSD or other artists). Yoona's rap was straight up 🔥

I liked this one so much, forever 1 had me crying but Villain! And that vocals from Sunny & Yuri got me so distributed. Tiffany and Sooyoung did (above) great job on this master peace.
The rest of the song in the album is bop actually. I just cant picked which one is the best out of all. But if i have ti choose, probably Closer, Lucky Like That and Villain. But trust me, the entire album issa bop🤌🏼🤌🏼 Well I'm not surprise because it's GG🤣

Tiffany's voice isn't actually always easy to detected cause for example her part at 8:30 in this video is Sooyoung (which is more clear at the latter half of the line) and 8:50 is Sunny. Or maybe it's just Sooyoung who sometimes sounds like Fany
Also about Seohyun's name: Seo (서) is actually her last name and it's pronounced more like the Soo (수) in Sooyoung than your first guess Se (세). But of course since it's eo and not oo it's not the same. Anyway, I'm sure you know already since you said you would google it
