    I'm Scottish so I'm a wee bit biased, but good lord is anything more beguiling or enchanting than an Irish accent? It's just so lovely and musical, my accent sounds like a series of angrily repressed sneezes, especially when I speak in Gàidhlig.
    Man the Irish are blessed.

      Beautifully written comment. =dofts cap=

    BtS views like this one are always so mind-blowing to me... the amount of work that goes on, quite literally behind the scenes, is truly as unintuitive as it is impressive to someone like me, who has only ever appeared on a handful of "daytime TV" (read: trash) productions.
    Where we genuinely came in from the street and were immediately put in front of cameras without mask, outfit, any of the typical fittings of making TV or movies, here we have a show where every bit of furniture is hand-crafted, and every single outfit lovingly designed, crafted and arranged. Impressive.

    I always love behind the scenes of any show even one I’ve never watched.
    When I saw the Crabfeeder mask sadly as someone with a facial difference my heart dropped. Because OF course it was for a villain. I think if I could interview these creators I’d have to ask, why does the industry continue to use facial differences as a mark for villainy?

    • @Thomas_Esson
      @Thomas_Esson 17 днів тому +3

      Not to dismiss your general industry point, but for context with this show since you seem to indicate you haven't watched, the other mask belongs to one of its most sympathetic characters (Viserys I), whose face is disfigured by an infection. And the same disease that aflicts the Crabfeeder covers half the face of an innocent girl (Shireen Baratheon) in Game of Thrones. Likewise, the two series have featured two major characters with eye patches: one villain-leaning, one hero-leaning.

    How dare you use the fake 4 legged dragon sigil as the thumbnail. GRRM despises that logo. The Targaryen dragon should have TWO legs not Four!

    • @Thomas_Esson
      @Thomas_Esson 17 днів тому +4

      As mistakes go, this is pretty minor. I get GRRM expressing the gripe, but he himself admits "medieval heralds were not exactly renowned for their grasp of zoology, even for real world animals," and even his preferred sigil "is not exactly anatomically correct" (three heads; tiny wings).

    • @dicegamenetwork
      @dicegamenetwork 17 днів тому

      @@Thomas_Esson I would say that mistake is pretty major actually. It was the wrong sigil and was used in the later seasons of GoT, as well as slivering its way on the cover of his own books incorrectly. And Now Adams team lazily snags any image off the internet and throws it on his thumbnail. How embarrassing. It’s such a massive mistake that people actually think that is the correct sigil. For a yt channel who is claims to be so interested in the details of this series it’s quite a big oversight. Typical casuals. GRRM would not approve, as expressed in his blog post

    • @Thomas_Esson
      @Thomas_Esson 17 днів тому +1

      @@dicegamenetwork Snags any image off the internet? We're viewing the same thumbnail, right - wearing a crown with the sigil behind?
      It's a physical banner hanging in the background, plainly visible from 10:34 onwards.
      Often helps to at least skim through a video before commenting.

    • @dicegamenetwork
      @dicegamenetwork 17 днів тому

      @@Thomas_Essonwhy would I skim through this video that doesn’t take the time to get basic lor correct? Where do you think that image came from? I can tell you it wasn’t from GRRM. When you screen print anything you need to begin with an image and upload it into software. The image can then be blown up to match the dimensions of what you want it to be transferred to. Materials like a tee shirt or flag. In case you didn’t know.
      Odd choice to be defending this that hard. You clearly are not a GoT fan if you are dying on this hill. Astounding how you’re picking and choosing your points to counter. As well.
