- Ed O'Neill talked with Ellen about how he found out about the cancellation of his hit TV series "Married... with Children"... from a bride and groom in Ohio! The actor also divulged which of his "Modern Family" co-stars was the most emotional when they finished filming the series after 11 seasons, and what his plans are now that the show is over.

it would be great for all the fans .. but it wouldnt' be the same... keep in mind that all those great episodes are for most people good memories from the past .. and new series will not be the same. also because the formula was made for a family with young kids that grew up to be teenagers ... i think we all have to let it rest .. and enoy the great episods for the rest of our lives :-)

Actually, one project that he was meant to star in, but had to cancel out of last minute (due to family reasons) was the Amazon Prime show "Night Sky". As luck would have it, they found a great replacement in J.K Simmons.
