Jite and her brother are such a vibe!
Two things stood out for me in this episode
1. From the Convo between Koyinsola and Ameh: As a lady it's important to know your worth and live from your identity in Christ ( not in a proud or cocky way) but in dignified and assured way.
Pastor Mildred has once said in one of her sermons that as ladies we are the prize, we are the favour men find.
So, we are not special because some "spirit-filled choir director", tongue- speaking; fire come- down -from heaven" hunk of a Daddy G.O blinks at us, (I no go lie the thing can shack sha😅) but we are special because God says so, it's who we are. It's so important we settle this identity/esteem matter to avoid making mistakes.
The whole physical charade we fall for will eventually make us blind to the real stuff the man is made of like his character, obedience to God etc..
2. Jite's anger: (Babe dooh)Comparison kills..

I don't think Jite is comparing though. I think she's hurt by even her friend rejecting her proposal. I think she was deeply rooting for them and seeing it go sour then made her angry about her situation plus the pressure she's getting from home and everything altogether. I honestly think Jite is hurt
I think jite needed to ask Sammy cos 3years and no plans to get married haba …. That wasn’t comparison in the real sense of it.. he had it coming and she was tired
i feel the timing made it look like comparison... its something she should have done but i guess the proposal made her think about her situation thoroughly and then she decided to make a decision about it.

Amen. It's always about how you can be there for others not how they can be there for you. It hurts! Most times I feel like a meal ticket
God bless ALL children who were the first to succeed and pull up other children and the family. The stereotype is not always accurate. I am younger than the oldest son and oldest daughter but succeeded so much earlier and bore the brunt of the load, a parentified daughter for many decades though I’m the 2nd daughter and 3rd child.

Loved this episode!! Jite is gradually becoming my favourite character. I really like how seriously she takes her business although there are areas that could be worked on, but I like her nonetheless.
Two scenes stood out to me in this episode:
1. The convo between Kanyin and Ameh. As women, we need to remind ourselves of our identity in Christ. A whole apple of God's eyes created and made in the image of God? Ahnahn shey you dey whine? No matter how spirit-filled the brother is, guess what, we are still one of one, we are favour carriers as pastor M will always emphasize
2. The scene where Ella lied to Muna and how he responded to what she said re-emphasized the importance of communication to me. No matter how upset or offended we may feel, it's important to give room to hear what the other person has to say. I believe that Kanyin genuinely loves Muna, but she wasn't ready for that proposal, and the proposal being public must have made her feel like she had to say Yes, this is one of the reasons I prefer private proposals. All of these are things that should and must be communicated in every relationship, nothing should be off the table to avoid cases like these because Ella clearly has an ulterior motive, and I hope it backfires.

I honestly think that before a guy makes a public proposal, he should please, first run a background test to know how the person he's proposing to will take it. Be sure the person likes him enough, is ready and comfortable with public proposals. Otherwise, he will end up mounting pressure on her.

I feel like before a proposal (public/private), discussions should have been had on aspects like your partner's readiness, stance on various aspects because someone can want to marry you but not be ready at the time you are.

Lovely episode. It’s not a great thing Chisom doesn’t realize her worth in Christ (which counts for everything), you are already 100 times more liable to make a mistake if you think it ‘worthy’ someone’s giving you some attention, so I’m predicting she will.
Jite was upset, and perhaps justifiably so, but don’t think she handled her anger with Sammy in the right way, if the circumstances were different, her behavior in the relationship would be a red flag. Alsoooo, Tega is pronounced as “Tay-gah” 😂. If you want to give off that you’re actually Yoruba, you’d definitely pronounce it as Jite did 😂❤️.
Love seeing Kanyin’s pretty face and how she carries herself with poise (think she looks tremendously like Shaffy Bello as well). Wonderful acting from her (Kanyin) too!
