It is human nature to be justified in our own eyes. The hard part is that they don't want to compare themselves to God. All they hear is Jesus died for our sins. And God is Love. Soon they begin to think Hell and Sin no longer exist. They hear but do not understand.
Well, I don't know any human in history who was omnipotent and benevolent, and still decided to wipe out all living creatures from the face of the Earth in a flood except for one family and a couple of every animal. So, there's already that from the top of my head.
I dunno. I've never killed a man for picking up sticks on the sabbath, nor tortured a man and killed his family just to test his faith, nor asked someone to kill their son to prove themselves to me, nor destroyed a city with fire, nor flooded the world and killed all but 8 people - including women and babies. Nor have a I created a place to put people I don't like so they can suffer for eternity. Nor have I killed the first born children of a nation, nor sent plagues, nor sent my son to suffer and die in my name, nor struck a husband and wife dead because they did not give to charity, etc etc. I think you might get the idea. As someone has not done any of those evil things I think I would compare favourably to someone who had. God is such a being, so that makes me better than God - or at least better than the society who created this God in their image.
As an honest person myself, it didn't occur to me, but that makes sense. These videos are made to lead folks to the books that are offered for sale. Religion is very lucrative if marketed well.
Why the heck does everybody need to be saved? Religious people seem to have a very dim view of this excellent life we have. "Your life sucks (trust us), but it's OK- we've created an 'afterlife' that's really good. Just drink this koolaid..."

Lloyd Lester III amen brother, let the little children come to me Jesus said and do not hinder them for theirs is the kingdom of heaven. Pray the children get trained up in Christ in who they are in God Before the devil sends stuff in their life to break them down and get them to abandon their destinies in God. He did it to early on. I started getting dreams and stuff about God around 3 and I was super outgoing and joyous toward all people. Then in kindergarten first day satan attacked me through children that perhaps felt threatened by my confidence and joy and so attacked me harshly as a defense mechanism. But that rejection hurt bad and the devil used it to start a long number of years of me walking in a heavy spirit of condemnation fear and much bullying followed. I lost my joy and confidence, went in a bubble and got away from God Into drugs and alcohol and hung out with other outcasts, rock n rollers. It wasn’t until God found me again and I encountered the Lord Jesus in my bedroom as I came to the end of myself and asked him if he was real to just save me from hell and all that hell of life and give me a better life free from all that pain and fear. Immediately he came into that room, showed me for sure he was real, putting his extreme presence of joy love and acceptance back into me and saved me. I received that when I repented and told him I would give up all the drugs and alcohol and doing all bad if he would just save me and give me a better life. He did and here I am today. The Word of God says it’s not by works.. doing good doesn’t attribute to being a good person. We should all aspire to “being” good and only Jesus can teach us how to truly be good

If what you said was true then Jesus would have gone to hell, because he came to the Earth as a man.(and lived a perfect life) No human (except Jesus)has ever lived a perfect life. Romans 3:23 for ALL have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. Romans 6:23 for the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Ye I get that. But what I am trying clarify is the verse you’ve quoted. It will be hard for us if not impossible to enter the Kingdom of God since we all fall short of the Glory of God. No human is perfect, except Jesus of course but is God in nature. So I hope you watch the video I’ve cited.

This lady is very patient listening to this man screaming away. Every time I subscribed to a new Web of a preacher, they ask to repent according to their way. I used to do that until I lost count of the number of time for years.
I have been searching, studying, praying, reflecting, and listening so much lately. I was saved 20+ years ago. When I initially accepted the truth - I am not good at the level of God's goodness, I did not comprehend just how different our differences were back then. Today, and I'm not finished with this life so it will probably increase, I see more and more how different the flesh's acceptance of what standard is met for "good" compared to God's standard. As this realization increases, the more I realize how much mercy was given to me. As I further understand how far we have fallen, and the wrath stored up, and the coming judgment, the closer I want to be to Jesus. And as I hear the word, and read the word, the more I want heaven. And then I realize how selfish I've been with the gospel since becoming saved. I don't share it with everyone. How wicked can I be if I'm scared of rejection at the cost of the soul of another? Every soul is precious. Jesus wants everyone and He died for everyone. How beautiful is the cross and amazing is the victory? When He proclaimed to Hades that He was victorious and He was taking the righteous with Him! He holds the keys to death and Hades. How glorious is the redemption for us? How could we ever stop thanking Him?
I don't know why it is that religions always need to focus on a punishment in another life that has not been shown to exist. It's like using the bogeyman to scare your kids into behaving (if you were that kind of parent). These discussions generally focus on whether God exists or not, whether he's moral or not, and what will happen after death. So little time is spent focusing on the realities we live in TODAY, the problems we face TODAY, and what we (with the help of religion) are doing to solve these problems TODAY. Why? IF religion is about a way of life that solves many of today's problems while preparing us for the alleged afterlife, why is the species showing zero improvement? Is Christianity (and other religions) failing to make any positive change here on earth? Are the leaders immune to the positive effects of religion? Religion seems to actually be a SOURCE of discord that drags humanity down as we bicker about whose god is real, and when they might show signs of existence. Personally, I choose to work with what's in front of me here on earth, and make the best decisions I can, to live a decent life. I don't see how claiming to believe in a particular deity would make me live any differently. Yeah, yeah, I know- the afterlife. Whatever....
Nobody can keep the Ten Commandments only Jesus who was God in human flesh kept them perfectly. All of us have broken God’s Standard and sinned “missed the mark” because we’re sinners(see Romans 3:23; 5:12) In John 8, Jesus told the woman caught in adultery “Go and sin no more” On the Cross he said “Father forgive them for they know not what they do” Before dying He said “It is finished” he completed His work upon the Cross paid in full for our salvation. On the first day when a person gets saved they’re spiritual babes and don’t understand much how to grow in their Christian Life. They just know God forgave them their sins by the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ and going to Heaven. Now after that they need to read and study the Word of God, Pray, fellowship and go to church service to grow, develop and mature in the faith. There are three stages of spiritual growth(see 1 John 2:12-14) They will fall into sin for a period of time BUT if they repent of sin and return to God indeed belong to Him like we read in Hebrews 12:4-13. I fell into sin three times in my Christian Life and each time returned to God!

I think what classifies as a good person is someone who no matter what sins they have committed they always go and repent and ask for forgiveness and have good intent. The bad people are the ones who try to justify their sins and mistakes and keep making them over and over on purpose thinking ill just repent later. The whole purpose of this life is to make mistakes and learn from them.
@@Jasukai Repenting means to "change your mind" or feel "regret". I get what you're saying though. I believe that once someone becomes truly saved they won't want to sin and abuse grace and once they do sin, they immediately repent (regret, feel sorry, etc.).
@@Matt-ox2qc It's humbling ourselves before Him and verbally recognizing what it is that we need to repent. Apologizing is also a sign of respect. Say you know your parents are going to love you unconditionally regardless of what you do. Does that mean if you do something to hurt or upset them that you don't verbally apologize to them? No, because they need to hear it to know you are sorry and they will hope you won't do it again.

That just gives us more hope and evidence that we can try our best to please God, but He knows we not perfect and we go constantly mess up, that’s where Jesus dying on the cross for you comes in. So according to that scripture what i’m understanding is: not asking for forgiveness is to be a self proclaimed so called righteousness person who has no intent of changing their sinful ways. Not asking for forgiveness after sinning will get you in a place you don’t wanna be. It seems in Gods eyes a person who does this is a proud self righteous person who doesn’t need God. One thing i don’t think you understand is the meaning of asking for forgiveness and that act of it. In the act of getting on our knees and pleading for God to forgive us, we are saying I am nothing and i’m not in control you are, & you are everything. Help me to be more pleasing in your sight. So in that act we are already pleasing God by worshipping him & giving him honor for what he will do in our lives, in this case(sin less or build up a hatred towards sin so we won’t want to do it) Another thing you said once someone becomes truly saved they won’t want to sin and abuse grace, etc. The thing is tho from my understanding we can never be truly saved. I would think being Truly saved is not sinning at all (like Jesus) not wanting any part of it, n basically being completely perfect. Something we’re not. But the reason we can’t be truly saved, [on this earth]with the [bodies we have] is because (backing it up with scripture) “For I know that nothing good lives in me, that is, in my flesh [my human nature, my worldliness--my sinful capacity]. For the willingness [to do good] is present in me, but the doing of good is not.” ROMANS 7:18 AMP “The mind if the flesh(sinful pursuits) is activity hostile to God. It does not submit itself to Gods laws, it can’t. And those who are in the flesh(living a life that caters to sinful appetite and impulses) cannot please God. Romans8:7-8 AMP That literally tells you how it’s impossible to be okay in God’s eyes ESPECIALLY of you ain’t asking for forgiveness. I mean there’s no point in being a Christian if you ain’t go repent 💀👎🏽. That’s just like living a sinful life doing whatever you want then when you on ya death bed asking God to forgive you and take you to heaven. Dat ain’t go work. Didn't the rich man ask yeshua Jesus what must he do to be saved ? Jesus replied .. keep my Commandments! !!! So we do as we are told ! Jesus is our example of how we are to live . Love is obedience
Acts 2:37-38 King James Version (KJV) 37 Now when they heard this, they were pricked in their heart, and said unto Peter and to the rest of the apostles, Men and brethren, what shall we do? 38 Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. That's how you're born again. True only God is good. That's why you repent daily that's why you pray always. Its the blood of Jesus Christ that makes us righteous. He imputed that to us, he died for our sins, he chose us, he loves us.
You don't have to be water baptized to receive salvation. You get baptized by the Holy Ghost once you truly believe and trust in Jesus Christ as your savior. Go read Acts chapter 10 & 11
This young lady is, in my opinion, open to truth as well as the love of Christ; questioning, learning personal error, is all part of the process in my opinion.

@@colsstars66 No. He is saying we must *actually* trust in Jesus' blood, rather than just saying that we do. If you think you are a good person by your own works, then you are *not* trusting in Jesus' blood at all - regardless of whatever else you say.
He was not talking about being baptized. We are already born of water as earthly beings and he also says. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." The spirit is what we need to be born again in order to be saved.

By not submitting to John's Baptism, they (Pharisees) "rejected the counsel of God" (Lk.7:30). Same goes for anyone who rejects the baptism of the gospel. 2. Jesus did not reply to his opening statement, but instead went straight to the point of what Nicodemus needed to do to enter the kingdom. He said "unless you are born again, you can not see the kingdom of God." Keep in mind, John's baptism was heaven sent (Lk.20:4), and Nicodemus did not adhere to God's messenger. Jesus being part of the counsel of God, in the position to grant entrance was instructing, and warning Nicodemus. 3. Nicodemus not understanding what Jesus meant by "born again" asked, "how can a man when he is OLD be born again..." The question asked by Nicodemus, was how can he, being an "OLD" man, be born again. There is no discussion about how an infant comes into the world between Jesus and Nicodemus in verses 1-7, So the "water" mentioned in (vs. 5) is not a referance to the water in child birth as you promote. The subject is on Nicodemus and what he, and every living soul of age, needs to do to be added to the kingdom. 4. Jesus clears it up for him and answers his question; "unless a "man" (man or woman) is born of water..." (Jn.3:5). John and Jesus had been baptizing in water, baptizing all of Judea, and they of Jerusalem a baptism of repentance for forgivness of sins (Mk.1:4-5). Later we learn "Jesus baptized more disciples than John" (Jn.4:1). To Nicodemus "water" was obviously baptism. There is no reason to give "water" any other interpretation than what Jesus meant by (Mt.28:19-20; Mk.16:15-16; Acts 2:38). 5. The next part of the verse "...and of the Spirit" is what through off Nicodemus. Jesus chose his words to prove a point to Nicodemus "are you a teacher of Isrrael, and you do not know these things"(Vs.10). There is "one" baptism mentioned here and not two. This is not a reference to a baptism of the Holy Spirit, neither some kind of HS baptism. The role of the HS in the new birth process is in the initial phase. Consider these words by Peter: "Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently: Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (1 Pt.1:22-23). The HS operates in conversion through the Word of God. A paralel passage of John 3:5 says "for by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body" (1Cor.12:13). First note both passages mentions the HS in the role of conversion. Second observe that both verses state the same result that occurs with the completion of the new birth process. @@captainobvious6857 i like most of Ray Comforts videos. There are many where he treats opponents and people with a lot of respect. In this particular one it seemed much too harsh. You could see how she was responding to what she's been taught. At that point he shouldn't just follow his script, but rather try to give her some credit for what she knows, and try to find more precisely if and where she may have gone wrong in her thinking, and then just bring her up to speed. There is even a chance she is a true Christian but just hadn't had the chance to learn to give technically correct answers. A person in any authority position must be gentle with those who are not resistant. I know some, probably most true Christians wouldn't be offended if Ray thought they weren't a Christian and tried to point out their sin. Nice quote of "let every man be a liar". It's the holy spirits job to convict you. He just wants you to act on your faith. Your just not doing something he wants you to do. Just respond to the conviction. It is human nature to be justified in our own eyes. The hard part is that they don't want to compare themselves to God. All they hear is Jesus died for our sins. And God is Love. Soon they begin to think Hell and Sin no longer exist. They hear but do not understand.
Well, I don't know any human in history who was omnipotent and benevolent, and still decided to wipe out all living creatures from the face of the Earth in a flood except for one family and a couple of every animal.
So, there's already that from the top of my head.
I dunno. I've never killed a man for picking up sticks on the sabbath, nor tortured a man and killed his family just to test his faith, nor asked someone to kill their son to prove themselves to me, nor destroyed a city with fire, nor flooded the world and killed all but 8 people - including women and babies. Nor have a I created a place to put people I don't like so they can suffer for eternity. Nor have I killed the first born children of a nation, nor sent plagues, nor sent my son to suffer and die in my name, nor struck a husband and wife dead because they did not give to charity, etc etc. I think you might get the idea. As someone has not done any of those evil things I think I would compare favourably to someone who had. God is such a being, so that makes me better than God - or at least better than the society who created this God in their image.

Pray the children get trained up in Christ in who they are in God Before the devil sends stuff in their life to break them down and get them to abandon their destinies in God.
He did it to early on. I started getting dreams and stuff about God around 3 and I was super outgoing and joyous toward all people. Then in kindergarten first day satan attacked me through children that perhaps felt threatened by my confidence and joy and so attacked me harshly as a defense mechanism.
But that rejection hurt bad and the devil used it to start a long number of years of me walking in a heavy spirit of condemnation fear and much bullying followed.
I lost my joy and confidence, went in a bubble and got away from God Into drugs and alcohol and hung out with other outcasts, rock n rollers. It wasn’t until God found me again and I encountered the Lord Jesus in my bedroom as I came to the end of myself and asked him if he was real to just save me from hell and all that hell of life and give me a better life free from all that pain and fear.
Immediately he came into that room, showed me for sure he was real, putting his extreme presence of joy love and acceptance back into me and saved me.
I received that when I repented and told him I would give up all the drugs and alcohol and doing all bad if he would just save me and give me a better life. He did and here I am today. God bless you brother, may you reach and bless the children into that also!:)

This lady is very patient listening to this man screaming away. Every time I subscribed to a new Web of a preacher, they ask to repent according to their way. I used to do that until I lost count of the number of time for years.
I have been searching, studying, praying, reflecting, and listening so much lately. I was saved 20+ years ago. When I initially accepted the truth - I am not good at the level of God's goodness, I did not comprehend just how different our differences were back then. Today, and I'm not finished with this life so it will probably increase, I see more and more how different the flesh's acceptance of what standard is met for "good" compared to God's standard. As this realization increases, the more I realize how much mercy was given to me. As I further understand how far we have fallen, and the wrath stored up, and the coming judgment, the closer I want to be to Jesus. And as I hear the word, and read the word, the more I want heaven. And then I realize how selfish I've been with the gospel since becoming saved. I don't share it with everyone. How wicked can I be if I'm scared of rejection at the cost of the soul of another? Every soul is precious. Jesus wants everyone and He died for everyone. How beautiful is the cross and amazing is the victory? When He proclaimed to Hades that He was victorious and He was taking the righteous with Him! He holds the keys to death and Hades. How glorious is the redemption for us? How could we ever stop thanking Him?

I don't know why it is that religions always need to focus on a punishment in another life that has not been shown to exist. It's like using the bogeyman to scare your kids into behaving (if you were that kind of parent). These discussions generally focus on whether God exists or not, whether he's moral or not, and what will happen after death. So little time is spent focusing on the realities we live in TODAY, the problems we face TODAY, and what we (with the help of religion) are doing to solve these problems TODAY. Why? IF religion is about a way of life that solves many of today's problems while preparing us for the alleged afterlife, why is the species showing zero improvement? Is Christianity (and other religions) failing to make any positive change here on earth? Are the leaders immune to the positive effects of religion? Religion seems to actually be a SOURCE of discord that drags humanity down as we bicker about whose god is real, and when they might show signs of existence. Personally, I choose to work with what's in front of me here on earth, and make the best decisions I can, to live a decent life. I don't see how claiming to believe in a particular deity would make me live any differently. Yeah, yeah, I know- the afterlife. Whatever....

Before dying He said “It is finished” he completed His work upon the Cross paid in full for our salvation.
On the first day when a person gets saved they’re spiritual babes and don’t understand much how to grow in their Christian Life.
They just know God forgave them their sins by the precious shed blood of Jesus Christ and going to Heaven.
Now after that they need to read and study the Word of God, Pray, fellowship and go to church service to grow, develop and mature in the faith.
There are three stages of spiritual growth(see 1 John 2:12-14)
They will fall into sin for a period of time BUT if they repent of sin and return to God indeed belong to Him like we read in Hebrews 12:4-13.
I fell into sin three times in my Christian Life and each time returned to God!

I think what classifies as a good person is someone who no matter what sins they have committed they always go and repent and ask for forgiveness and have good intent. The bad people are the ones who try to justify their sins and mistakes and keep making them over and over on purpose thinking ill just repent later. The whole purpose of this life is to make mistakes and learn from them.
I agree with repent, but wouldn't asking God to forgive you show that you don't have 100% faith & trust in Jesus Christ's finished work to save you?

@@Jasukai Repenting means to "change your mind" or feel "regret". I get what you're saying though. I believe that once someone becomes truly saved they won't want to sin and abuse grace and once they do sin, they immediately repent (regret, feel sorry, etc.).
@@Matt-ox2qc It's humbling ourselves before Him and verbally recognizing what it is that we need to repent. Apologizing is also a sign of respect. Say you know your parents are going to love you unconditionally regardless of what you do. Does that mean if you do something to hurt or upset them that you don't verbally apologize to them? No, because they need to hear it to know you are sorry and they will hope you won't do it again.

Although he died on the cross for us, and has the victory don’t mean we don’t have to repent still. That just gives us more hope and evidence that we can try our best to please God, but He knows we not perfect and we go constantly mess up, that’s where Jesus dying on the cross for you comes in.
So according to that scripture what i’m understanding is: not asking for forgiveness is to be a self proclaimed so called righteousness person who has no intent of changing their sinful ways. Not asking for forgiveness after sinning will get you in a place you don’t wanna be. It seems in Gods eyes a person who does this is a proud self righteous person who doesn’t need God. One thing i don’t think you understand is the meaning of asking for forgiveness and that act of it.
In the act of getting on our knees and pleading for God to forgive us, we are saying I am nothing and i’m not in control you are, & you are everything. Help me to be more pleasing in your sight. So in that act we are already pleasing God by worshipping him & giving him honor for what he will do in our lives, in this case(sin less or build up a hatred towards sin so we won’t want to do it)
Another thing you said once someone becomes truly saved they won’t want to sin and abuse grace, etc. The thing is tho from my understanding we can never be truly saved. I would think being Truly saved is not sinning at all (like Jesus) not wanting any part of it, n basically being completely perfect. Something we’re not. But the reason we can’t be truly saved, [on this earth]with the [bodies we have] is because (backing it up with scripture)

That's how you're born again. True only God is good. That's why you repent daily that's why you pray always. Its the blood of Jesus Christ that makes us righteous. He imputed that to us, he died for our sins, he chose us, he loves us.
You don't have to be water baptized to receive salvation. You get baptized by the Holy Ghost once you truly believe and trust in Jesus Christ as your savior. Go read Acts chapter 10 & 11

@@colsstars66 No. He is saying we must *actually* trust in Jesus' blood, rather than just saying that we do. If you think you are a good person by your own works, then you are *not* trusting in Jesus' blood at all - regardless of whatever else you say.

He was not talking about being baptized. We are already born of water as earthly beings and he also says. "That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit." The spirit is what we need to be born again in order to be saved.

Consider these points.
1. Jesus knew Nicodemus refused to be baptized of John the Baptist. By not submitting to John's Baptism, they (Pharisees) "rejected the counsel of God" (Lk.7:30). Same goes for anyone who rejects the baptism of the gospel.
2. Jesus did not reply to his opening statement, but instead went straight to the point of what Nicodemus needed to do to enter the kingdom.
He said "unless you are born again, you can not see the kingdom of God."
Keep in mind, John's baptism was heaven sent (Lk.20:4), and Nicodemus did not adhere to God's messenger. Jesus being part of the counsel of God, in the position to grant entrance was instructing, and warning Nicodemus.
3. Nicodemus not understanding what Jesus meant by "born again" asked, "how can a man when he is OLD be born again..."
The question asked by Nicodemus, was how can he, being an "OLD" man, be born again.
There is no discussion about how an infant comes into the world between Jesus and Nicodemus in verses 1-7, So the "water" mentioned in (vs. 5) is not a referance to the water in child birth as you promote.
The subject is on Nicodemus and what he, and every living soul of age, needs to do to be added to the kingdom.
4. Jesus clears it up for him and answers his question; "unless a "man" (man or woman) is born of water..." (Jn.3:5).
John and Jesus had been baptizing in water, baptizing all of Judea, and they of Jerusalem a baptism of repentance for forgivness of sins (Mk.1:4-5). Later we learn "Jesus baptized more disciples than John" (Jn.4:1).
To Nicodemus "water" was obviously
baptism.
There is no reason to give "water" any other interpretation than what Jesus meant by (Mt.28:19-20; Mk.16:15-16; Acts 2:38).
5. The next part of the verse "...and of the Spirit" is what through off Nicodemus. Jesus chose his words to prove a point to Nicodemus "are you a teacher of Isrrael, and you do not know these things"(Vs.10).
There is "one" baptism mentioned here and not two.
This is not a reference to a baptism of the Holy Spirit, neither some kind of HS baptism.
The role of the HS in the new birth process is in the initial phase.
Consider these words by Peter: "Seeing ye have purified your souls in obeying the truth through the Spirit unto unfeigned love of the brethren, see that ye love one another with a pure heart fervently:
Being born again, not of corruptible seed, but of incorruptible, by the word of God, which liveth and abideth for ever." (1 Pt.1:22-23).
The HS operates in conversion through the Word of God.
A paralel passage of John 3:5 says "for by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body" (1Cor.12:13).
First note both passages mentions the HS in the role of conversion. Second observe that both verses state the same result that occurs with the completion of the new birth process.
John records that the goal is entrance into the kingdom, while Paul affirms that the convert is introduced into the one body.
John 3:5 Spirit, water, kingdom.
1Cor.12:13 Spirit, baptism, body.
Clearly "water" is baptism.

In this particular one it seemed much too harsh. You could see how she was responding to what she's been taught. At that point he shouldn't just follow his script, but rather try to give her some credit for what she knows, and try to find more precisely if and where she may have gone wrong in her thinking, and then just bring her up to speed. There is even a chance she is a true Christian but just hadn't had the chance to learn to give technically correct answers. A person in any authority position must be gentle with those who are not resistant. I know some, probably most true Christians wouldn't be offended if Ray thought they weren't a Christian and tried to point out their sin.
Nice quote of "let every man be a liar". I wish my own teachings were faultless and always done in a way that fully honored God, but alas, i've found myself altogether too untrustworthy.

I’m so confused and I feel like I lied to my self I watch one of your videos and convicted my heart I as an atheist that I was dropped and ask Jesus to be my Lord and Savior but in other videos I feel more convicted about being born again and turning from sin and all I understand that now but why do I feel convicted every time is that normal or is my life all a life it’s a serious question

Along with John Piper, as @Landon Smith wrote about, I would also recommend John MacArthur. Both are excellent expositors of scripture.
It's the holy spirits job to convict you. He just wants you to act on your faith. Your just not doing something he wants you to do.
Just respond to the conviction. He's desiring to lead you into a intimacy with the Father through Jesus.
The holy spirit will always lead you to obey Jesus. I recommend starting with this;
“And when you pray, do not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and on the street corners to be seen by others. Truly I tell you, they have received their reward in full. But when you pray, go into your room, close the door and pray to your Father, who is unseen. Just read the word and allow the holy spirit to teach you everything that's written. Read the new testament.
Pray and read everyday. Let the holy spirit teach you to do everything motivated by how God loved you in Christ and took all your sins away and made you a new creation.
Don't depend on preachers.. you should go to church and submit to a pastor. So he can oversee your soul. Ask the Lord where you should go to church.
But let the holy spirit teach you himself, learn to be lead by him and taught by him.
The fastest way to grow is don't keep anything from Jesus. And submit to a man that lives by faith in Jesus so they can teach you and disciple you.
You can't walk with Jesus unless your humble and submissive.. the demons will keep you twisted like a pretzel.

Christians say Jesus peace be upon him is God in the flesh. If that is the case then why did he say that? He never once claimed divinity. He never said anything like I am God or worship me.
I expect u to counter this by using verses like John 10:30 - “I and the father are one” this has been analyzed and has been revealed to mean one in purpose. Jesus and God are one in purpose as Adam in Eve were one and as me and my family are one.

But most Christians deny his teachings. Actually all Christians deny his teachings because they wouldn’t be Christians. Who follows Jesus more? The Muslims that don’t eat pork and do not worship him but submit to God or the Christians that eat pork and worship Jesus and say Jesus is God. Jesus said follow all of the teachings of the Old Testament. The Old Testament says do not eat pork. Jesus also never ate pork. So if Christian means to follow Jesus then In that case the Muslims are more Christian than the Christians themselves. Indeed I compete with u in my love for Jesus Christ. I love him more than u and I truly follow his teachings brother.

Philippians 2 is one of my favorite chapters in the bible because of all the different ways to lead a person to Christ. I truly believe ray new that he could lead a "Christian" to God. Ray is a very smart man and God has blessed him with the ability to talk to people.
We need also to show them the Love. We have to have discernment what each individual needs. Some need harsher words and some need softer words. Love the sinner and hate the sin.
