I’ve known Michael since 2017. I was his coach Adrian’s right hand. Michael is amazing in so many ways

Can you elaborate what makes him amazing? He obviously is great but if I’m critical, it seems he lacks clear weapons and some power. Against the top players in college last year, he lost against players who could put power him. Also, he looked a little mentally weak in the finals of the spring NCAA singles tournament. He was u; a set but he seemed like he faded and didn’t put up much of a fight in the second and third sets. …on the other hand, I have to give him credit for the mental strength he had to come back in the fall and win the NCAA singles tournament in the fall. Not easy at all to do it after coming so close half a year ago.

What was the final score? Looks like Zheng was besting Zahraj.

@@lavault It's a bit hard to explain. In short, in US college tennis, if winning this match can't change which team wins, then players will stop playing. There are one double and six singles in total. If one side already won 4 matches, they already won. In this case, Columbia already won 4 matches. Even if UCLA won this match, they still couldn't win.

It’s a high level of D1…it’s a match at 1st singles between two strong programs, Columbia and UCLA…Zheng is top 40 ITA (college rankings), former junior grand slam finalist…Zahraj is an all-conference (PAC-10) player.

Yeah I don’t know man I know they’re great players but maybe it’s because every other Asian with a similar build I’ve played against in HS has the same exact strokes and swagger as Michael so you’re discounting the play
