um...because he is Uncle Jesse...and we all know the wonderful Uncle Jesse isn't human...he's like that special Christmas present that's saved for last on Christmas morning. Something wonderful and magical that never goes out of style. Therefore...that is why he does not age. yea idk where I was really going with that...the man is a God, maybe thats why lol
The pilot totally made fun of itself for being nostalgic but the rest of the season created a new story while staying true to old characters and mentioning the past. It got a little ridiculous at times but that's why we loved it.
+Rattu i'm glad they did some less family friendly stuff, why not yanno? its on netflix plus the people who grew up watching as kids are obviously now adults so i think it played well.
It's obvious that sequels are never as good as originals. But i still think they did a pretty good job and i'm going to watch any and all seasons of Fuller House that come by.
I'm an old person, so I can tell you this! You cannot see more than a few feet away in reading glasses. Older folks put their glasses on and off like this all the time- simply to be able to see most of what is going on while they are not actually reading!
Some of the greatest movies/shows were hated by critics and some of the worst were praised by critics. What it comes down to is the people who actually watch them. Fuller House is nothing new or crazy, but it's feel good entertainment. Sometimes I think critics and some people forget that there are shows/movies created just to entertain people and not have some deep seeded meaning to it.
+Manuel Garcia It's just like the original, and everyone loved that, so I can't agree with you. I cannot see why it would get bad reviews. The first episode was like a huge nostalgic blast of milk expelled through your nose. Meaning it was amazing, it was a great passing of the torch and the show moved on with excellence. It's just like the original. One of the best family shows out there in recent time. It's just fantastic. We just live in a cynical world, with dumpy people who rather see wickedness and evil over good wholesome programming. We live in a world where anti-heroes are praised because they're just a smidge better than the bad guys. Superman is viewed as lame and boring because he's too good. What!?!?! Goodness and morals are frowned upon now, cause this world sucks. Mostly the people suck. I applaud a show like this coming out and going against the grain, swimming against the current. It's not perfect, but it's better than most things out there today. I hope it paves the way for more shows like it to come, more shows who step up the goodness and morality to a new level even.
@@XionProductions Actually, its NOTHING like the original. It defeats the purpose of what Full House was. In my opinion, they shouldn't have re-created it.
Jackblue2009 You've got it. I'm mostly angry because Aunt Becky keeps her clothes on. If I ever had her on my TV show, I would definitely have her naked at least once in every episode.
+Lorisa214 Yeah i totaly agree i mean the beggingin was a little bit awkard but i liked it like that it got much more like a normal flowwing sitcom in the latrer episodes
The season was pretty good. I ended up falling in live with the entire cast, and I want to see them all grow up. But i can see why it got terrible reviews. The show showcases the corniness and outdatedness of the 80s and 90s aesthetics. But this show isnt to impress the critics or anything, it's really to please the fans and people did like it a lot which is why they are returning with a 2nd season. I enjoyed it, i think it was very nostalgic and i was born after the final season of full house aired, but it was still my childhood. It's amazing and legendary and they pulled off Fuller House very well. Now if only those damn olsen twins can make at least one fucking appearance just so i can completely relive my childhood. They're like the missing piece of the fuller house puzzle.
Even back in the 80s and 90s, I realized the corniness of Full House. I think the cast was fully aware too. It’s on purpose. It was still entertaining.
+Mahalakshmi Balasubramanian The constant references was what got a little tedious. Whether it was a nostalgic reference, a sexual reference, a self-reference, a drug reference, etc. It just was so much that it got old and painful. I like it a lot and the episodes with the Danny, Jesse, and Joey are great, but I want them to come into their own show and still have fresh ideas, new clever jokes, good characters. They can get there-I think they just need time.

you know it was nice enough for the guys to make a nice cameo from full house for the first episode 1 of fuller house, plus you can't really keep them around for it anymore they have other big stuff and tighter schedules they need to do to make a living. So that cameo was enough for me and it was nice to see the girls take over.
We're all older and we've all seen amazing shows come and go since we were all kids watching Full House. However, I believe, Fuller House is awesome! Yes, they did do a ton of fan service in the first episode but that's to be expected. Remember what Full House was and you'll love Fuller House. 😎😁
The audience is fine with the magazine referring to necrophilia toward the show, but they booed when Stamos suggested the magazine was dead and was screwing the show? Not the brightest bunch, this audience.
Fuller house is like a cute kid trying to play the piano. Sure it's not good, but it's adorable and you love the show so much that it doesn't molest you that the quality sucks, but the fact that they even did it is already awesome enough for me to love it.
Lots of people have forgotten that the original Full House was panned by critics. It was only a commercial success because it came out at the right time, during an era when everyone loved "family friendly" sitcoms and cheesiness was in. Had it been released at any other time, it would've flamed out fast, but as they say in comedy, "timing is everything."
+ZhangtheGreat It also had a very charming and funny pilot episode that had a '3 Men and a Baby" vibe going for it that hooked a lot of viewers. That and they had adorable kid actors with catchy catchphrases. Other than that, it absolutely deserved to get hate from critics: it was saccharine-sweet, usually very unfunny and it jumped the shark early and often. So, I agree, not surprising that the reboot would be disliked, as well by reviewers.
People who still enjoy good wholesome, cute family shows love this. The Problem is that TV has taken things too far, and kids now have every inappropriate thing in their faces every day. Maybe kids today would not have so many problems, if we still had good values shows to watch with our kids. My 12 daughter loves it. We even binge watched the older show, because she loved it so much. She thought it was cool to see them as kids.
I grew up watching full house and I still do watch reruns. I loved fuller house. Yes the pilot was a little odd but after the second episode i binged watch the whole thing wishing there be more.
I didn't have very high expectations going in and I think that's why I liked it a lot the pilot was rough but I think that's only because they had to reunite everybody while setting up the plot for the rest of the season. I'm not saying it's the greatest show ever but it's really enjoyable and I'm excited for season two (also I'm team Steve obvi)
Show is nowhere near as bad as critics say. It's actually pretty decent and if you're a fan of the original Full House, then I can't see why you wouldn't like it. Finished it last night. Looking forward to season two.
+Michael Leon I was a fan of the original (Full House and Family Matters were my life). Tried to watch Fuller House... couldn't do it. I watched, at most, 5 minutes (I skipped around) before finally calling it quits.
+Michael Leon I am a fan of the Original Full House, grew up watching it like many, so i might be one of the oddballs that actually really liked Fuller House. It is odd seeing your favorite characters all grown up though (mine was/is Stephanie).
Well the first two episodes are fucking dreadful, especially the Pilot. They're lucky they already had a fanbase that would stick around for more. I really hope they turn it around.
I loved full house, and I liked fuller house probably because michelle was my favourite character but I respect the Olsen twin's decisions to leave, but i wish they would at least make a special appearance in an episode x
This is actually really funny, the reviews are so mean but the way they're talking about it makes me laugh haha! And btw, i really don't understand how this man still looks like 35.. you can say what you want but he's handsooome
It is impossible for John Stamos to look older than 35 years old.
Liyah Kai Styles I don't know if that 'no' was for his age or my comment.
He is a Vampire.
The_Howler he's 54
Samuel Wisewell 54!!!!!
Its the Greek in us. We have a youthful appearance.
How does he still look so damn good!
If Men In Black taught me anything he's an alien

My only question is why someone so attractive has remained so nice.
+Maria Shutter Why shouldn't he be nice? His life has been easy because of his good looks.
elanacar
You'd think - but the nicest people I meet are the less attractive ones.
Because you can be so beautiful but if you're an asshole you're not attractive.
He's been around Bob Saget for so long.
The pilot totally made fun of itself for being nostalgic but the rest of the season created a new story while staying true to old characters and mentioning the past. It got a little ridiculous at times but that's why we loved it.
Who cares about the critics. The fans who watch it a gazillion times over and over again are far more important.
true
Just watched all the episodes yesterday while I was supposed to be writing an essay... It was great!
totally agree!!
.... Critics are professional... They represent the show in its pros and cons...
I happen to LOVE Fuller House a lot!

Seth Meyers is such a genuine host, i love everything about it
"How f*cking rude" oh my full house heart
The necrophilia like is actually a fantastic critique.
Just finished the whole Fuller House season. Its actually pretty good.
Already seen it twice😂🙈
unknownuser The Michelle shade had me dying on the floor. Im glad its on netflix. Im pretty sure some of those jokes wouldn't sit well on family tv

leans over to whisper fuller house porn parody in seth's ear and says it right into his mic. he is me
I had a massive crush on John Stamos when Full House was on and I can say it hasn't changed
So is he gonna keep his glasses on or...
reading glasses vs looking at the audience. near sighted vs. far sighted. the struggle of getting old, man. lol
+mantequillatortilla His eyes are probably the only things that have aged. lol
+Dina Khalesi so unbearable. I was like in my head, sit still and leave the glasses on!lol
I'm an old person, so I can tell you this! You cannot see more than a few feet away in reading glasses. Older folks put their glasses on and off like this all the time- simply to be able to see most of what is going on while they are not actually reading!
After 20 years, he looks exactly the same. How is that possible?!

I absolutely adore the AV Club's headline and review. It's just too funny.

AV Club review was the best. like it's phrasing gold.
It helps that they’re a sister site to The Onion
I can see why it would get bad reviews. lol but i still loved it!

Jackblue2009 You've got it. I'm mostly angry because Aunt Becky keeps her clothes on. If I ever had her on my TV show, I would definitely have her naked at least once in every episode.
Clutch Cargo That approved it :p
I actually liked it. They did a pretty good job.

JOHN STAMOS still being HOT, and he's so hilarious! I loved Fuller house btw, good job! 👏👏
Take a shot every time Stamos takes off and puts his glasses back on 😂

They care about feedback from the general public and they achieved good feedback which is why they are back for season 2.
Even back in the 80s and 90s, I realized the corniness of Full House. I think the cast was fully aware too. It’s on purpose. It was still entertaining.
I was expecting Stamos to blow his top like he did in that video. Lol
i loved Fuller House i thought it was actually pretty funny. Loved seeing the whole cast together again .
+Maria Alvarado But the WHOLE cast wasn't together again....
i mean yeah the olsen twins didn't return but i think the rest of the cast did a great job. it does suck they didn't come back but oh well..
jodie looked hot with her boobies
hahaha agree!
Seth is getting pretty close to 400,000 subscribers (finally). Honestly though, his number of subscribers should be MUCH higher than that.
I agree
I met John Stamos 4 years back in Newyork. He was really nice
I watched the whole season of Fuller House and it's actually very good! yes we know it's cheesy but that it's charm! SCREW the critics, Idc I loved it
Still looking amazing Mr. Stamos!!!
the first episode was a little uncomfortable to watch but the rest of the season was good. can't wait for season 2 to come out

I love Fuller House. The characters have such a great connection and rapport.
He just gets more and more attractive tbh

I watched it for Stamos only back in the day. And history tends to repeat it's self ;)
not even gonna watch the video just here to type:

I forget to bring my submarine sandwich reward card to the submarine sandwich restaurant. ...EVERY TIME!
