Tip for perfect grid: use grid paper for smaller charts, patternmaking grid paper for larger ones. Pounce paper is good too. It's an American term, I don't know any other terms. Thank you for your videos!
@@SewingByAnita I liked your videos cuz you showed up closed and even calculated how much fabric to use. You can sew thru the grid paper, but the patternmaking grid paper is thicker. Three also grided interfacing by Pellon or tear-away/ water soluble/heat soluble interfacing. Pounce paper is (from what I've read, really thin and like wax paper?) I guess you could sew on wax paper without thread and use a wing needle to make your own, but that might not work if you're making really big things. I'm just starting to try this technique on 1 or 2 inch ribbon. I might try it on Sleeves or pockets.
Your information will help other viewers also 🙏. Check out the book called fabric manipulation by Ruth singer for trims made with ribbons. I have it and enjoy looking through it. Someday I hope to include those trims into sewing projects. Glad you like my videos.
I take more than necessary and then cut the excess and use for back of the cushion. In video, I mention exact length and width needed for 16 inch cushion so viewers won’t have waste / excess fabric.

Oh! I didn't know that people would miss basket videos. I deleted my old channel and started this new one so there are no basket video playlists.
