I bought The Boy, the Fox, the Mole, and the Horse for my nephews in that same edition… and then a month later a new edition using the beautiful full color illustrations from the animated film came into bookstores. So I had to order that one! I will probably trade them so they get the upgrade 😂
I did wear a gold band for several years, until my fingers outgrew it and it became uncomfortable. And on occasion I do wear a gold watch so I would have to admit to a preference of gold over silver. btw, it was very nice seeing your pet, Willow, along with this year's Advent tea calendar at the beginning of the show. My two cents from 30+ yrs making chocolates using molds. Per chocolate, the idea of a double boiler is to have the top bowl not touch the flame, but to have the water touch. You are NOT supposed to bring the water to a boil; you want to avoid the steam! Chocolate is an oil based food. Moisture from water or steam can cause it to have a dull finish, and may cause it to clump so it will not pour and mold properly. Personally, I think I'd eat chocolate off a dirt floor...That's the idea, anyway.

If you are going to read 'war and peace' for the first time, it is better the penguin edition. The novel is translated by Briggs.
