hello! I have a few questions, I hope I am not bothering :) 1- How do you go to the supermarket? You walk? The school takes you there? 2- Does the school pay for your meals? 3- Is it hard to only have one toilet and two showers for a lot of people? 4- Did you guys get along easily with people around you? 5- What subjects and activities are you taking? I would love for you to do a Q&A, if you do make sure you answer these please💗 Thank you!
@@_fionafarrell_ I have one more! I know they usually ask you in your interview wich school you would prefer to go to. What school did you choose? Did you end up in it?
Hi Adriana, this depends very much on your National Committee. The Namibian National Committee did not give us a choice, they made the decision based on our application and financial circumstance.
Hi! Iam applying through swedish commitee and I really like the maastricht school! But what can you do for your service? Because I would really like to do my service with kids or at a hospital etc. Is it possible? (Maybe not now but usually) and how is the food at school? Iam a vegetarian so If you know something about that I would love to know how it is! I love your videos!
Hi Agnes! I did my service at Centraal Orgaan opvang Asielzoekers, which supports asylum seekers in the Netherlands. I would help organizing children's crafts in the afternoon once a week. There are many service opportunities at UWCM, the school will provide support if you wish to start your own initiative.
Hello and thank you very much for the video! A question I have is the following: are you responsible for cleaning your room/bathroom and other common areas?
Hello Anna! We are responsible for keeping our bedrooms clean, and for keeping the kitchen clean. Once a week, a cleaning company comes to clean the bathrooms on the floor.
I love the video! And also I have 1 question: Are you allowed to go to the city to buy things and walk by? Hope you can answer me, greetings from Bolivia!❤️
Hey! I am applying through the Ukrainian National comittee, and in 5 days i'll have the 3rd round Considering the applicants who have also passed , I can't understand a consistent pattern of how they choose the applicants - cause someone is quite, others are not , and that's really confuse me. I match all the UWC's missions but I'm afraid they won't see this through some online rounds. Do you think I need to behave as myself, or be at least more competitive to draw more attention?
I too have applied to uwc just waiting for my application results to come in cause that's my dream school and my question for you will be how many breaks and holidays do u get in a year and if u wanna visit ur home do they give you leaves
Hey Poonam, we get 3 week off in December and our summer break is about six weeks long. We also have a week off in October, one in February, and one in May.
Hey!
If you are interested in UWC Maastricht, or UWC in general, I am happy to answer your questions.
xx

are all UWC very strict on the ratio of nationalities of borders? like can two people in the same country live together?
Hey! How much for school and boarding fee?

Hello Anna! We are responsible for keeping our bedrooms clean, and for keeping the kitchen clean. Once a week, a cleaning company comes to clean the bathrooms on the floor.
I see you have a kitchen! How exactly do meals work at the school?
We eat our meals in the Mensa - a canteen that provides food for us. You can also choose to cook occasional meals in the kitchen.
I love the video!
And also I have 1 question:
Are you allowed to go to the city to buy things and walk by?
Hope you can answer me, greetings from Bolivia!❤️
Yes, we can choose to go to the city during our free time.
Hi, Fiona
I am Intan from Indonesia, i want to ask about the costs.
I come from the average family, would you think that i will get the scholarship?

Hi Nastya, I would say to behave as yourself. The interview panel will be able to tell if you begin to act as someone that you are not.
Hi! Write how it goes! Iam applying through swedish commitee and iam going to the second round in 20 days. After that I get to know if I get in!
I too have applied to uwc just waiting for my application results to come in cause that's my dream school and my question for you will be how many breaks and holidays do u get in a year and if u wanna visit ur home do they give you leaves
