- Comparison of the two steel nibs from Jowo: standard and BF.
The BF is straight, so can be fit in feeders and housings from Bock, TWSBI 700, KAWECO Elite and many other.

Hi Pablo, thanks for this video, it's very helpful! Just wanted to clarify - would the BF nib be a better fit for the TWSBI 700 and 700R, or does it take a standard JoWo #6 nib?
Jamerelbe thanks for your comment! Right, for the 700 series the BF is the best!
Very useful, thank you.
I just have a stupid question. When this nib is straight, does this nib fits in a standard nahvalur feed?
I I just subscribed, I want to buy Jowo nibs for these pens: a few jinhao 100, jinhao x750, jinhao x450 and kaigelu 316 and 356 pens. Which jowo nib should I buy for each? They all use a #6 size.
Sorry, have never had those pens
2 QUESTIONS:
1: CAN A JOWO FEED FIT IN A STANDARD PLASTIC FEED?
2: CAN U SELL EBONITE FEEDS FOR NAHVALUR PENS PLEASE?
I guess you mean if a Jowo 6 BF can be fit in a standard Jowo housing, it can but the problem comes from the feeder as the nib is straight and the standard feeder is curved.
Then, ebonite feeders for those pens: for a reasonable price I can make them in thousands, that means that the demand for a particular feeder must be very high. For Jowo and Bock the demand is high but for others is not. So I will not make them. Other thing is making only one, but the cost is too high.
@@Fpnibs SORRY, I MEAN IF A JOWO FEED FITS INSTEAD OF A STANDARD NON-JOWO PLASTIC FEED, NO MATTER THE NIB UNIT.
AND WELL, THANK U...
There is no standard housing, each manufacturer has its own design.
@@Fpnibs YEAH I KNOW, BUT WHAT I WANNA KNOW IS IF I CAN CHANGE THE USUAL CHEAP PLASTIC NON-JOWO FEED FOR A JOWO FEED?
I do not think so, the design is probably different, so it will not screw in properly. If the grip section hole is bigger than the Jowo housing then you might be able to glue it in.
If I'm trying to sub out nib units in my Franklin-Christoph 66, will fpnibs.com's JoWo standard #6 nib unit have the same threads?
Thank you!
Hi can u do a video about the full flex nibs available in ur website?
zeppelin lai I will try. Thanks for your interest!
Hello Pablo. Can I use the BF nib with a Jinhao 159 or x450/750 fountain pen ?
korax67 check if the original feed from the Jinhao is straight or curved. Indo not know Jinhaos well enough.
@@Fpnibs thank you
@@korax67 did u buy one? which? fits well?
@@marianmarkovic5881 no, I got two regular ones, a Medium and a Fine. The Medium was OK but the Fine was very very scratchy and I replaced it with Bock ....
@@korax67 i was thinking about 1.1 stub,
standart jinhao nib is fine enouth.
did u change nib only? which Bock model(full name pls) did u use in the end.
I was expecting some kind of writing test in a 7 min video about nib
This video is not about how a nib writes!
