If I see any other versions of this one, I’m going to avoid them like the plague so that it doesn’t get ruined for me. Because this FL really played this role perfectly and is such a standout talent. I hope I come across more dramas with her. This was by far one of the most interesting writing and FL character that I have seen from these dramas. Highly recommend! ❤

HOLY SHIT, this FL was badass! No man left standing...NONE! She let no one intimidate her, not even her so-called "family." This is the kind of stuff I want see in a FL or anyone really who is bullied. I want to see people fight back, and stand up for themselves. Not a doormat to stand down in the name of love or family.
They all big mad because they thought the FL was going to be intimated and happy to take whatever crumbs and abuse they throw at her. She came in and said don’t start none it won’t be none. 😂😂😂😂She didn’t mess with anybody first….they all were the ones who started it and then tried to cry and play the blame game when she finished it 😂😂😂😂 LOVE IT

Ooo… I like this FL, she’s feisty! 😈 The way she observes the people and things around her is kinda like a predator 🐅 sizing up a situation. And the funny thing is that these people don’t recognize that, and they just assume she’s a submissive mouse they can pick on. But boy! Once she unleashes 😧…. it’s like a smack in the face (sometimes literally 😋) and they tend to back down right quick. It’s actually pretty hilarious AND satisfying! 😉

this version leans more on the emotional approach. I want to give applause to Ye mother. She plays her character well. Her emotion is in the form of guilt yet doesn't really have the drive to admit that she also played some part of the reason why Ye Kong became like that. Her realization came late but she is still reluctant to take action. She was torn between her 20 year old 'good daughter' (fake daughter) and her new neglected daughter which she also loves but she herself doesnt know if that is a real love or guilt.
If she is not that emotional, this story will turn out to be boring. Why? The FL and her mother play their role well in this story.
for this I am really impressed that the writer didn't make Ye Kong ask her mother to choose between Ye BouZhu or her in the early plot. Hats to the writer for not following the usual short drama cat and dog plot.
FL is good but needs improvement as well.

What Ye Kong said at the last scene that Ye mother should be grateful that Ye Baozhu turns out to be a villain so her guilt can be lessened and she can choose Ye Kong is really the last blow to her mother's wall. I really like that scene
More improvement is needed but this is a good story for those who want to watch a bit of a different story.

On the way to meet the fiancé’s family, she asked him to tell her the “rules” of their house so that she doesn’t mess up. And when he basically said you do whatever you want she replied back to him to not get mad at her then when stuff goes south. She gave him a chance 😂😂😂😂😂
Now this was my kind of lady she didn't give 2 f's about anyone and did it in a way to make them pay her hubby had her back 100% love it and great chemistry

Usually these fake/real daughter tropes the real daughter comes back hopefully wanting a family. In this one with her years of abuse and other traumas she is detached and not easily give her emotion. Also, she already knew that the other girl was a fake bc that girls mom came to the orphanage. This actress played in another fake/real daughter trope where she is reborn and cut ties with them.
