    Many things to review in this video. First, the skin I am using is from the Trade.gajin site. Second, Strumling gave us a pretty good break down of the two variants of BMP that are available in the game. I am running the later version while Sturmling is running the older. The past couple of days are my first times playing the BMP and I think it went pretty well all things considered. I hope you enjoy the video.

    That intro clip with Bo tempting fate had me smiling. LOLed. Was quite a feeling to see this video after hearing you and Sturmling talk about doing a BMP-1 video on Stream a while ago.
    And when Sturmling is not gibbering in fear and panic he is quite informative. History Time with Professor Sturmling. 10/10 would watch.
    Another good video Bo and Co. Looking forward to the next one.

I know this videos old and you probably don't read the messages on the old videosbut when I heard one of your friends mention Concors the squirrel it immediately reminded me of the nation I made in nation states back when I was in 9th grade. I was recently at that time, Believe It or Not, attacked by a squirrel and chased me all the way up to my house. Nasty little bugger, red squirrel. Anyway, I named my Nation Furdolf Squirreler. It wasn't a fun place to live in. Just figured I'd give you my drunken input on my past. As always, love the videos, especially that one where you played against viewers in the invasion of Sicily. • @Martyhero
    @Martyhero 6 років тому

    Ok, so according to Wikipedia one thing Sturmling didn't mention was the BMP-1 was built with NBC combat in mind, so it was sealed to protect the crew and troops inside. This seal however was completely invalidated by opening the reload door Sturmling mentioned. So you pop open the hatch to reload your rockets and suddenly the troops you were hauling were irradiated/infected/contaminated/hating you. Probably one of the reasons the Russians swapped out for the tube variety

    I've always found that the only issue with your trying to talk with your prisoners is that the game doesn't show you the name of the enemy tanks. So from the ferdinand's perspective there's just a random person asking about music in chat, and a tank with an abnormally long reload staring at them.

    • @StealthySparky
      @StealthySparky 6 років тому

      Yeah true but you can somewhat call him by the tank he drives ^^

    The Egyptians had a fair amount of success with the man portable version of the Sagger (the NATO code name for the Malyutka ATGM) during the Yom Kippur war, in spite of its limitations, although the IDF failed to accompany their tanks with infantry, which would likely have negated the capabilities of the Sagger due to the inherent weaknesses of the control system, as it's difficult to control such a weapon while being engaged by enemy infantry.

      If you just watched "Fury", then that movie is pretty bad and everything depicted in it is pure propaganda and shows how the German Wehrmacht was "Bad" at tactics, like come on.. a Tiger tank wouldn't just run at a Sherman, it would sit in bushes and shoot those motherfuckers back to America.

    • @m1sz3lpl24
      @m1sz3lpl24 6 років тому +3

      TheDeadLinger There were like 4-5 (I can't remember) tank vs tank engagements involving tigers on western front, in all of these allied tanks (shermans) won. While Fury is bullshit so is propaganda how indestructible tiger was. Or how bad sherman was, while irl it had the best combat record out of all WW2 tanks.
