Congrats to Andy! Watching these boss fights is almost as stressful as actually playing them.
I would find a way to die in the character creator of a From Software game, so it's always awesome to see the channel play through any of those. This was awesome, thank you!

I'd really love a full playthrough with everyone chilling on a couch like some of the good ole let's plays. I know they don't always get the view numbers but I think a full Elden ring dlc lets plays in the same style as the rdr and resi ones would be awesome to watch.
12:40 the scorpions there and thinking they were spiders at first made me remember the "fun" fact that scorpions are also arachnids, and have eight legs: they're basically DPS spiders and I...don't know how I'm gonna deal with having that knowledge.
Well it may help you know that your minds probably afraid of the scorpions rather than spiders
Defeated two major bosses, got my ass _absolutely_ kicked (Andy did significantly better than me, on one of those bosses), and I wouldn't have it any other way. Uncovering secrets for the first time, purely through the help of players' messages...it's just like the launch day of _Elden Ring,_ all over again, which is exactly what I've been asking for - and, with legacy dungeons that feel like they're improving upon the base game's (which were already some of From Software's finest creations), to boot. There's one area that completely blew my mind, there's a smaller fight in the first area that I think might be one of my favourite enemy encoun-God, I've got so many thoughts already, so I hope this won't be the only _Shadow of the Erdtree_ video, on the channel!
Oh, and of course, the fashion...man, the _fashion._
You guys should do a play through of the dlc, that was hilarious. But seriously, I'm at level 240 something and this game is still kicking my butt, so your not doing that bad, great video.
Finding it very funny that Andy's character is basically spec'd into Moonbeam, the easy spell that anyone can do™
The grease meta just wasn't working anymore 😂
It's more of a horizontal moonbeam, which is a difficult spell which only cool rogues can do ™

It’s a video game. A hobby meant for enjoyment. Anyone can play any way they want, that’s why those spells and mechanics are in the game.
Dont forget to use the head to talk to the npc in the storage room

So after the stream, I cooked and ate some dinner. Then I went back into the realm of shadows. After about 40 minutes I found Messmer, in what seemed a shockingly easy spot to reach, and thought, oh maybe he isn't the the ultra boss, maybe just a trailer red herring. ..... Then he curb-stomped me in about 15 seconds before I had done 2% of his damage.
I feel I should more explicitly say, I found it after 40 minutes more playing. Not 40 minutes from start. I had several hours playing before the stream.
Damn, "shockingly easy spot to reach"? I had to Google how to find Messmer 💀
i left this area till last in my play though and that npc in the storeroom wouldn't even talk to me lol
nice to see how Andy took on the area and he did a great job against the boss.
I'm late to the party because I was waiting until I'd beaten this area myself to avoid spoilers. But really well done!!

i think they nerfed the flat damage of the mimic but i've been through new game+ and leveled a lot of weapons, including all katanas and the nagakiba (which has bleed+frostbite) along with the mimic helped me melt Rellana; status weapons should be fine with mimic.
I did buy Elden ring today because it looks so fun to play. I hope you guys do another stream of Elden ring, maybe coop?🙂

Rosie from PlayStation Access said she was around level 194 when she started the DLC and even she struggled with a few bosses. It sounds like quite the difficulty curve.
After around level 150 you don't really get stronger anymore. Each level after that only offers bigger build variety. That was already noticeale in the last quater of the base game. The DLC is about the same difficulty, I'd say.
I kinda wish this was a luke and andy stream, for the hilarious technical difficulties
I just realized we won't get a hallowstream where Luke and Andy play an obscure FMV and make fun of it at every turn. I'm big sad now.

Oh and just realized a list video you could do but haven't. Video games that let you drop insane distances without dying. Specifically monster hunter world from the top of the tree to the ground drop in ancient forest. In dark souls one the 4 kings, in dark souls 3 ashes of ariendel and ringed city have huge falls with no damage, Elden ring dlc now has one but no spoilers on what or where since it just released, and I suppose prototype lets you not just fall from up high but ground slam while you do it lol.
Mike is thinking “Does Torrent get a Nitus Boost in the DLC” and Andy is immediately regretting his lack of enthusiasm at the initial DLC trailer.
Not the stream I expected to hear Hannu Mikkola being mentioned.
