Theo, one of punk rock's most underestimated vocalists...hit the high notes in Jan Brady easily too. Lunachicks should have got bigger...than they were, they deserved it, don't get it.
I think they didn’t get bigger because they just weren’t that interested in being big rock stars. As I understood it Lunachicks just wanted to have fun playing the music they liked and singing about what they felt was important to them at the time.

@@EllakGr Punk bands can become well known for doing whatever they want... but that rule pretty much only applies to men, with very few exceptions. I agree with you in the fact that they didn't seem to be interested in being mainstream sellouts, like Debbie Harry or Gwen Stefani, but they could have, at least, been a band people had heard of... like L7, Bikini Kill, or Babs In Toyland.

Sorry, Theo, but the kids today will always insist on labels for music. In fact, they seem to prefer to MICRO label all forms of music to the most minute subgenre, like the little obsessive-compulsive mutants they are.
