The first match I have seen and it was a great one. Both boys put it all on the line and one just edged the other. Loved the sportsmanship and the obvious bond between the boys and their coaches. Congratulations Harvey and Joel both of you are a credit to the sport!
This was the first such match I've seen in my life. I love it! Two fantastic young men fought. One mozanat was more beautiful than the other. It was a real manly and intense fight. As two boys he was wonderful. Congratulations to the winner, but the loser can't be ashamed either!!
I don't know much about MMA but umm now reading these comments. Each to their own but maybe they're is potential danger to competing in a sport like this at such a young age but whatever. I blame the parents. But i suppose they're happy.
They compete under a junior rule set similar to that of junior BJJ, wrestling, Judo and Karate. There are no head shots - ref stops the bouts - no twisting locks As they get older theyre aloud to do more moves.
I am mortified and very disturbed by all of these. Adults parading imitation of violence as "sports" to kids no less. Arent there any laws that should prohibit this happen to kids?
They are about 10 times more likely to get a lifelong or crippling injury from football or some other widely popular sport then they are from doing this
