If only this lasted longer, I might pop for the full bottle, but $500 CAD is a lot and as short-lived as this is on my skin, it's really hard to justify that for a 50ml bottle. It's too bad, because this is such a gorgeous fragrance and I've not smelled anything like it.

I have 2ml samples of UAE, kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Kuwait and it has been disappointing for me and got really bad reactions from my wife lol ... Kuwait she said it smells like an old mans fragrance , Saudi Arabia her reaction was that I stink really bad, same for UAE with the skank. Maybe it's too middle eastern I don't know, I'm a rose oud lover so it grabbed my attention so I wanted to try these but ended smelling a constant slight skankiness in the background especially in the drydown. With UAE I was so excited in the beginning with the beautiful rose opening, but then ...
JojO yeah to be honest I wouldn’t collect or use these for your wife. Wives aren’t too hard to please and tbh most prefer no perfume. If ever just something on the pleasing grabber range. I don’t think these Gulf ones are made to do that. They’re more on the middle eastern range because those scents sort of symbolize the gulf states so they have to somewhat smell like the culture of those states like how the incense here is an ode to the Incense in Oman. Check out my lists on grabber perfumes and really you don’t need to push for these if you want your wife to be happy with your scent.
Roja only discontinues fragrances that don’t sell well. If he brings them back it is the original formula unless regulation has limited certain ingredients

The ones that came back like Kuwait was because people request and Roja wanting to something for fragrance lovers during the pandemic, but he wasn't sure if he would make Kuwait again after it sold out (said it depends on how many more request for it). Ones in the Heritage line will be available the duration of the pandemic.
