Still a cool place.. NSW is stuffed, all the places we surfed in the 60’s and 70’s were unheard of, now they’re sand mined, resorts, have to pay to enter, no camping or beach riding/driving or just plain packed out: look at Kurnell, they stopped us using buggies on the dunes under the guise of preservation, now they’re gone... mined by Rocla and turned into a rubbish dump to backfill and eventually subdivide, the first part is already built: the harbour foreshores that were industrial (they used barges to float goods from ships) were supposed to be turned into parklands... yeah right. I used to get peeved about “locals only” I’ve even been shot at at Cactus (near Ceduna) in the 70’s, now I get it but it’s too late for so many places. Selling up and moving to around there somewhere just as soon as this border closing bug buggers off.
Everywhere changes bro,,, that's just how it is. Still good waves and setups everywhere over OZ cherish those sessions where you get a few good ones out there with your mates,,,,,,,,, 'ONLY A SURFER KNOWS THE FEELING'
Yes I remember when we were kids if we saw another car coming up the beach we all got excited ...😂😂 dad had one of the very first beach cars at Rainbow ...most days there was no one driving on the beach except us ....💕💕 great days ...
