Finally caught a performance by Benny Green, a Bay Area favorite that we kept missing over the years. He is as we expected terrific! Thank you Kuumbwa for this special and intimate performance. We'll be watching it again.
Love Benny. And as we all know, Kuumbwa is a cultural muscle. But, why can't we come in person? There must be a seating and capacity arrangement that would work with the current restrictions. These artists deserve a LIVE audience. And I would bet most of us would be willing to come and greet you all face to face, maybe even contribute a few more bucks to the cause. Thanks for all the years of incredibly wonderful musical experience. I hope Kuumbwa survives all the shut down restrictions. NT
Hmm, No white person ever contributed to Jazz, no white person ever worked with Black artists, no white person was ever sought out, wanted, desired, needed by any black artist. So sad that people should comment who have no idea of the black and white sharing of the love of Jazz just like the keys on a piano. By the way my Uncles Mother, played only the black keys on her piano, try that, if you have even the slightest gumption.
One of the most humblest geniuses left
Very humble man indeed. Love his spirit
Benny's brilliant!
Years prior to pandemic made a point of seeing Green whenever he came through NYC. Dude is the truth!
Beutiful performance.. Thank you for uploading
Benny lives and breathes every single note he plays. Genius.😊
Ottima performance di B.Green, che denota una eccellente padronanza del pianoforte, ma a mio modesto giudizio, manca di personalità stilistica. 😊
The joy of hearing Benny is enhanced by the incredible recording job on this and all the other shows. Thanx so much David and crew!

What I see is a white man taking a job that could/should have gone to a person of color or a female.
Do you realize that Benny is one of the greats of our time?! He ain’t just any old white guy!
Hopefully you're joking
@@ViziaFilms Probably just trolling, making fun of anti-white discourse in America
Unfortunately no person of colour or female plays like Benny. Only Mr.Green does.
