Jesse, my kayak fishing group will be camping at Kiptopeke the end of this month. Do you think we might see you out at the CBBT that weekend? We are all fans
Hey man! Thanks for the message! I'm sure I will be around the area, the bite in the bay has only been getting better. I usually plan a trip there for flounder around the 1st of June. Let me know the dates and maybe we can meet up.
Where do you get your bait? Blue crab, fiddlers, green crabs, clams, etc... there’s a shop close to Kiptopeke called Chris’. I spoke with them and they said there live bait selection isn’t consistent. Any advice???
Another nice video! Always enjoy watching. Are you planning to try for cobia with that boat this year? These videos always get me stoked to get on the water
Will have to look into those, there are so many it will take all summer to visit them all lol... Which ther was a listing that ranked them on actual structure size and condition
Awesome video man how much do you charge person take fishing cbbt this summer I have all my own gear hard find somebody with a boat and knows how to fish lol
The captain always fishes less than his guests because he bears the burden of boat positioning, the trip's success, and the safety of everyone on board. It's just something you get used to.
@@SouthernReelsFishing I captain a 22' Palm Beach with a 200 Yamaha for family and friends. We go to the oil rigs and fool around in the sound and by the islands. You look like you are doing a great job and I'm happy that you are reaching for what you want in life. I really enjoy your videos and am looking forward to your future adventures.
Southern Reels Fishing thinking of getting a minn Kota with spot lock myself. What one do you have and how do you like it? How accurate would you say the spot lock is?
Maybe so, Id have to look to see what it was named. We didn't venture out far, stayed kinda within the mouth of the bay. Going to head farther out soon and also check out all the local reefs in the bay.

May 31-June 3. We want to hit the concrete ships, rudee’s, and both the North and South sides of the bridge.

That was a good day fishing. That was Tracey and I over by you guys. I remember that day. We caught our limits under the bridge. Good day indeed
Yes I remember, yall hit the spot that I usually go to first, should have followed my instincts instead of trying new stuff that day
Always enjoy your videos, and look forward to the next one!
Thanks once again Joe! You should come down and fish with me one day...
@@SouthernReelsFishing Would love to do that if we can make it happen!

Of course! Can't wait for that first hookup!
Southern Reels Fishing good luck man. Cobia can be challenging but a blast at the same time!
Another awesome video. Thanks for posting! Congratulations on the boat.
Thank you!
I’m glad you didn’t get skunked. Nice video
Thanks, me too
Yes - more videos of your Pro Angler and video game sonar!
Livescope on my Outback maybe, can do...
Great Video! Jim was tearing them up! i fished the target ships and the Northern Neck Reef on the Bay fun times
Will have to look into those, there are so many it will take all summer to visit them all lol... Which ther was a listing that ranked them on actual structure size and condition
And yes Jim always kills it, We joke about it's the Asian in him lol...
Southern Reels Fishing youlll catch up soon enough
It would be cool to see the livescope offshore in saltwater and around wrecks, reefs, and jettys
Coming soon! If the wind ever stops lol
Try some jigs in the heavy structure less snags, more sensitive to bites = more hook ups. Great video.
Thanks for the tip! I did try some jigs that day and they worked good! They seem to be much more sensitive than the other options
Any of these you think I could dive and spearfish??

No charge until I get my Captains License. Would gladly let you ride along though
Dude I am loving these new boat vids. Congrats on your toad;) haha. Your gonna catch some PB species this year

unless he has a good first mine such as myself. ;-)
I am slowly figuring that out... It's a different mindset vs. fishing by yourself in a kayak for sure...

Should have brought the LiveScope!
Didn't have it hooked up when I filmed this, this is from 3 weeks ago
are you drifting the wrecks or anchoring
Was using Spot Lock on the Trolling motor

Fish the yancy behind the first
I have fished that many times in my kayak, trying to find new spots... It does produce well though
santore?

Ok so have no idea what big d is
Lol, its a wreck right after 2nd island
@@rlup77 Oh yeah fished that lol
Looks like the big D to me.
I can neither confirm nor deny, lol...
I know this comment is old as hell but the big D is on the bay side of the cbbt about 20 yards off the bridge.
